Discrimination (Repeated, Severe or otherwise blatant Racism, Sexism or Hate Speech) - Mute 10 minutes, then increasing per offence, in the multiple of hours. (Half an Hour, 1 Hour, 2 Hours, 3 Hours, 6 Hours, 12 hours, 1 day and so on)

Impersonation (Obviously joking) - Warning.
Impersonation (Vague attempt) - 10 minute mute.
Impersonation (Trying really hard, arguing with people disputing, Pretending to be from PMC, etc) - Mute and Jail infinitely, and post for a ban.

Asking people to spawn items - Warnings, and if repeated, follow 'Spamming" advice above.

Home Kills (Once, and the person killed is given back items IN FULL and is ok with it) - Warning, but feel free to post a report a player if the need arises.
Home Kills (Once, but the deceased player is upset/not happy) - Jail 1 hour.
Home Kills (Repeated, but the people are ok) - 1 Hour.
Home Kills (Repeated, and it's pretty obvious people are getting angry at the killing player) - Jail 6 hours.
Home Kills (If you get notorious for home killing, and you do it again) - Jail 12 hours, per offence.

Scamming (TPA kills) - Warnings, and MAX 1 hour jails. Discretion as always.
Scamming ("Tp to me for free diamonds", or similar, kill) - Jail 6 hours, and mute.
Scamming (repeated, or very severe scamming) - Jail for a ban.

Excessive Caps or Cursing - Mute in 10 minute multiples (10, 20,30,40,50,1h,1.1hrs, etc)

Random PreciousStones - Warnings, but no jails. Destroy when needed.

Asking for a Donor rank/Trusted/Name Colour - Warning, and repeats get the spamming guidelines above
Asking for Op (Really? Do you think even SD's would be trusted to give out Ops?) - Public shaming.
Asking for Mod or Admin - Well thats a slippery slope eh? Refer them to the Staff Apps.

Disrespecting Higher Ranks (Accidental, or minor disrespect) - Warning.
Disrespecting Higher Ranks (Purposeful, and designed to offend) - Mute for 10 minutes, then 20 minutes per offence.
Disrespecting Higher Ranks (Staff, OR swearing/caps/combo rule break with it) - Mute for 1 hour, then 6, then 12, then 1 day, then a ban.
Disrespecting Higher Ranks (Staff AND swearing/caps/combo rule break) - Ban.
Disrespecting Higher Ranks (Ignoring staff orders) - Jail for 10 minutes.

No bothering staff if obviously busy - Refer to 'Spamming'.

Harassing other players (hanging around houses, being a nuisance) - Warning.
Harassing other player (ignoring the player's wishes ("Go away", or "Leave me Alone") or not being nice) - Jail for 10 minutes.
Harassing other players (disrespecting someone of the same rank) - Warnings, then discretionary mutes/jails.
Harassing other players (being a total douchebag) - Jails for 1 hour, per offence.

Exchanging passwords - Ban

Offensive Skins (as a joke) - Warnings, and reports on the 'Report a Player' section.
Offensive skins (to offend, or ignoring the orders of others that it is offensive) - Jail until resolved, and preferably not at a spawn jail, alex1 or sky jail will suffice.

Lag Machines (First encounter) - Warnings
Lag Machines (Ignoring requests to disable it) - Jail, then ask them to disable it.
Lag Machines (Purposely and repeatedly building lag machines) - Jail, and deconstruct the machine, or disable it.

Fly PvP (The other person is alright with it) - Warning
Fly PvP (The other person complains) - Jail for an hour
Fly PvP (Repeat offender) - Jail for 3,6,12 hours, etc.

Magic Carpet Offence (Use in a public place, annoying others with it) - Warnings, then 1/2, 1,2,3,4,5,6 hour jails, etc.

Sethome offence (PvP camping) - Warning, then a report a player.

Enchanting/repairing Items for Free - Report a player, but be reasonable.

/god in Arenas - Jail, and report a player
/god in PvP (The other person obviously wouldn't be happy) - Jail, and report a player.
Both of these need discretion, of course.

TP Kills (Give back, and a first offender) - Warning
TP Kills (Give Back, but has been warned before) - 10 minute jail
TP Kill (No Giveback, regardless of how many times committed) - 1 hour jail, per offence.
TP Kill (Notorious) - 1 day jail

Spawning Items (First time offender) - 1 hour Jail (These people are Obby's and SD's, they should know the rules)
Spawning Items (2nd Time) - 1 day jail
Spawning items (3rd Time) - Jail for a ban

Abuse of /fly - 1 hour jail, then 1 day jails afterwards, per offence

Abuse of Jail - 1 day jail... but be reasonable.

Abuse of /mute - 1 day mute, and a jail. See how they like it.

Abuse of /ban (letting someone back on, that you didn't ban) - 1 week jail. This is a very serious offence.

Abuse of /kick - Jail for 10 minutes, a kick to give them the message, and a report.

Any other 'minor' offence that is not covered by rules, or borderline rule break - 10 minute jail, or more, depending on the 'offence'

I know thats a lot to comprehend, so don't bother quoting, just post what you disagree with, and let the discussion begin. Any people who have forum sticky powers, are free to sticky this to the jail explanation, in original or amended form. But ONLY, if you give Zombie and I credit. This is a great guide, but unfortunately I doubt anyone would use this (I wish they would, but look at the trusted applications >.<) because people are lazy and have grudges.
Most of this is pretty accurate, but I'd maybe bump something to be a day longer to impress the 'Don't break our rules.'

I totally agree that different cases call for a longer or shorter sentence. Discretion is the key word.
