In the same dream, where my fur was brown, I noticed I was smaller too. In this dream I was on a beach at dawn and fish were jumping out of the water. I turned to look at myself when I noticed one thing, I was a cat! Not a domestic house cat but a LYnx. (I think you know where this is going :3) I woke up suddenly and looked to see Furry awakening. I got up and limped slowly to the pond. Drowsily FurryTail got up and lapped up some water. I closed my eyes and used my senses, I was starving and I needed some prey. I opened my eyes and told FurryTail "There is some prey over there" I gesture to the old oak trees to our right. After she dashed off I checked my leg. It wasn't infected, so it will probably heal soon. Furry returns with a plump squirrel to share with me. When I finished the squirrel I decided what we should do today. "We should stay here, we won't get far with my injury. Lets just hunt and rest today."
"Okay. How is your leg?" FurryTail asked.
"It's not infected, so it should heal soon."
"Good, I know we wont get far, but tomorrow we should get moving." Decided FurryTail. I nodded and we both gazed off.
"What is that on the other side of the lake?" I ask
"it Definatly isn't a wolf, it's smaller. I think it's brown."
"Should we investigate?"
