After talking to the other admins, we have all came to the consensus, that it would be best to change the rules on who can apply for staff. In order for you to make an application, you would have to be recommended by one of the staff members. Without this recommendation, directly from them, your application will be removed. This does not include past apps, as it would not be fair to the people who already applied. If you state in your application that an admin recommended you, they will have to state in a post that they indeed did, or we will talk to each other via Skype. This is to control people making posts, and to spare feelings of those that are not ready for staff, and avoid telling them that they will not get it. If they make it known to you that you are a good candidate, then you should be all clear. This will need change from us too Zombie, we will need to be very obvious in our opinions regarding eligibility to apply. This includes the very informal compliment Mcman uses, which is >Insert Name here< for mod! and so forth. People intending to apply should be able to quote/screenshot what could be interpreted as a endorsement, and if they can't actually bring up what was said VERBATIM then they shouldn't be applying. Full stop

I thought about that, and realized, if they are bugging staff about it, we would probably say no anyways. It would mostly be those people who stand out enough for staff to recommend them without having to ask, but I guess they can still ask..
