As many of you have become aware, the enchantment shop has been blocked off with a sign saying only "Enchant room is under construction." I haven't found much information on this, so I'm going to presume this is due to the reasons presented by Felled here. Namely, that enchants are too cheap, especially when it's considered that lapis blocks will repair tools, armor, and weapons. I calculated these based on anvil mechanics. I can explain the math behind it if anyone is interested, but I have a table of values calculated out, and that's easier to both reference and understand. I feel like these prices would prevent new players from immediately having maxed gear, but stay reasonable near the upper enchantment levels. They are of course just prices I'm suggesting, and I'd like to see opinions on them. Oh... I didn't know you made a chart! That's why it took so long xD I fully support all of this. She actually took time on this, and I doubt any other staff member would've done this.

Plus I accidently deleted the post once, tried to make the chart with BBC first and had to redo it as a screenshot of excel (tables are disabled on the forum -.-), had to search for a whole new source for numbers on the Thorns enchantment, and had to think of those things I used asterisks for so the prices wouldn't be warped. Also, I'm not a staff member. Your sentence should read "She actually took time on this, and I doubt any other member would've done this." or "She actually took time on this, and I doubt any of the staff members would've done this."

I like this idea, but in 1.8 enchanting becomes 100% easier only requiring 3levels and 3 lapis to get level 30enchants
