Today I was just doing my business in the server, mining and what not, and I meet some real cool guy. I've never seen him before but he greets me. He then proceeds to tell me that he had donated for vip-gold despite being on for less than a day.... with all due respect, this makes me feel bad that I doubt I'll ever pass trusted rank because I can't afford the real cash to pay for better ranks :c. Anyway, my suggestion to you guys that run this amazing server is to make it so that people who cant afford to buy the ranks with real cash can buy the ranks with iron ingots. I know that some people might not like hearing this but I don't feel like its fair that the rich people in real life can just buy their way through the game. Thanks for reading

Well, that'd defeat the point of donating, to be honest. Donating isn't necessary. It's not supposed to be 100% gold-star-sticker fair, it's just a perk you can get if you want to. If you can. Yeah, it's not fair. Some people are more successful than others, they can afford more. It's just not fair, yeah, but the entire point of donating is to use money. Plus, if iron ingots were used to donate, EVERYONE would be a donated rank, due to people spawning in iron ingots and giving them out, despite the rule going against it. It's a fair idea, but won't happen, sorry.

Iron ingots mean nothing. Game currency can't pay the bills.

Yes I realize you cant pay hosts with iron ingots, but that doesn't mean people would stop paying the server. It would be a shortcut to buy it with real cash, and I know that it probably will never be implemented but I'm saying ideally that would be great. Ill try to get some cash to donate but currently I'm really in debt so I cant buy ranks to help the server stay up, but hopefully I will as time goes on.

Donating means that you are willing to pay real money to help the server a bit. In return, you get a rank. Inspiron can't use iron ingots in real life. And if people could pay with ingots, nobody would donate real money. Your idea will never happen on this server or any other server. Ever.

Actually I have seen this used on another server, but on here it wouldn't work.
Some SD might just spawn a member 200 ironblocks so they could buy a rank, which wouldn't be fair to those who went legit

I like the idea, I truly do, but it would only work if we removed spawning ranks
And some Sd's have a hissy fit when we take a command that they wont need, let alone one they mainly donated for
