So this post is going to shed some light on the events that took place today (9/11/13). I would like to clarify by saying the server did not get "hacked". I made the mistake by not migrating my minecraft account to a mojang account, which I did do earlier today. Since I did not do this my account was very vulnerable to an exploit that I will not name because I do not feel like spreading it, however I do know exactly what it is and what it does. Essentially, since I went on the "hacker's" server and that my account was very vulnerable, that was the reason he gained access to my account and was able to op himself. He did not have "file access" as some were telling me. Everything he did was through commands on the game. Such as the whitelist command and the remove groups command. Yes this was MY FAULT for this occurring and I do apologize. Obviously everything is 100% now, we only backed up a few days. If you built something between 9/7/13 and 9/11/13 and it is not there, please either leave a /report location or put the location of the structure in THIS thread so I can rebuild it for you! Thank you for reading and don't worry about SERVER security, because that is and will never be the issue, this issue was with my account personally.

It is a slight hack in a way when they got into your account. But you mentioned they never got the password. I am so confused lol

well glad you clarified that, think we were all a bit scared and i thought i actually did something to offend you and you kicked me off or something. but im actually quite happy it happened bexcuase i died and lost GREAT armour and GREAT tools and GREAT amount of iron which was restored to my inventory XD
