Donations, a very controversial topic.

A quote used by RuneScape back in its former glory was "We don’t want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. We feel your status in real-life shouldn’t affect your ability to be successful in RuneScape". I feel that some donations are a little over powered, I know many agree with, me. Now, I'm not expecting anything to be changed but, I think SD's have too many commands and I also think we should limit what spawning ranks can spawn. Doing this can bring a higher sense of equality, thus bring in more players.



Many a person would agree that it's unfair for someone to spend countless weeks mining, trading, crafting, smelting and building just to make a small house and have about... Hmm, five diamonds. Then, a VIP obsidian or SD walks up in god armour, god equipment after grinding in their endermen farm in god mode, wipes them out, they don't have too much, but their freshly mined diamonds from a vein of 5 are gone. What do they do? Probably quit.



So, with this in mind, you might be wondering, what on earth is he trying to say? Get rid of all spawning rights and god mode? Hell no, even if I did want that, I doubt many people would be happy with me. I just think Sd and some things are overpowered for certain things.

I believe in equality... And common sense. Honesty, someone explain to me why a donation rank needs LWC admin and Ps bypass? O.o I actually don't understand, so I think that needs to go. Ban? Donation ranks don't need to ban, especially with out new staff. Essentials.kill... Ehh?

Honestly, you've got /i, you've got /fly, what's the difference? Get tmi, nei, or search the ID on google, not that hard.
Well, on the topic of /i....
WAIT WAIT WAIT
I don't want it gone, rather I want to change something.
Set it so donaters can't spawn in diamonds, diamond tools, diamond weapons etc. in fact, no spawning iron ingots either, no point in having no diamonds when you can just buy them...
Anyways, you may think I'm being way too harsh but the reality it, like in the runescape quote, do you want people having power over others because they have the status and money in real life to buy power In the game?
I hope not. Tis will bring equality, something MANY players look for, it also brings the community together!
The community, that's us. Honestly, do you see how quiet it is sometimes? 20 people on, no one talking, there would be more trading and people would use their commands to help others in exchange for things, it would be nice.
Plus we wouldn't have to worry that much about spawning it items anymore. Dontcha think?


So that's off ma chest, for Sd's, no ban, (especially because no one has pardon), no creative mode, limited rights for spawning items, no LWC admin and NO Ps bypass.

I want to do what we did with mods.
Make a new rank, and demote when needed.

The new rank could be VIP-Bedrock. It would have these commands, and be the same amount of donated money.

Your idea can't work because Sd is a donation rank, it has it in the name

If it was just /I /give and //, It would be good. But creative mode offers you an item that you can use infinitely to your wants. Having to spawn in about 5 stacks of blue wool to make something like my connect 4 game would be too much to deal with if you solely use creative mode to build things for other people. And runescape is totally different from minecraft. There is not a correct way of playing minecraft. You can survive like normal, play adventure maps, go on amazing servers like Mctopia, and extend your creticity with creative mode! The permissions aren't bad, it's some of the people the use them for bad.

But you're one of the only people who actually uses creative mode for that purpose, but the thing is, say you ere given explicit privileges, everyone else would complain, so it's one or the other.
And 5 stacks of blue wool ain't bad.
Trust me, I was doing a project and I literally filled my entire inventory!
It's actually pretty fun AND amazing to see how fast you blocks diminish.
It's honestly not that bad.
I went into google, typed ranks for minecraft, the first link, for unlimited items, it was not $60, 70, 80, 90 or even $100. It was $115
Creative mode was a whopping $150!
