Now I know Emmy made a great example on another post, but I felt like people would just copy it, example Dylan, not learn from it. So I'm quickly going to post 5 things to keep in mind when making your admin/mod app.
1. Use grammar.
If you say 'plz', 'pls', 'k', 'r', 'u', 'b' or any other type of texting language, you will pretty much be saying "Hey staff, I don't want to be mod/admin.
2. Use your vocabulary to your advantage.
As weird as it sounds, the more professional you make yourself sound, the more people can respect you. The more we might consider you as staff.
3. Keep it up on the server.
Just because you may have done well on the forums, doesn't mean anything. The moment you make your app, we will keep an eye out for you in the server.mif you're not helping or being nice to other players, you won't give yourself a good image.
4. Know the commands..
We want people with experience! Please study the commands you will get with your rank so if you do get it, you can use it effectively quickly.
5. Make good friends!
Before you make an app, make sure you've got good friends who can back you up, the admins are nice, try them!
Rules:
You must have at least 500 posts on the forums to become a mod. To become an admin you must have 2000. This shows you're among the community.
Always go for mod before admin, only go for admin if you are a moderator and the admins (Not just one) have told you to apply. (We will discuss this.)
If you are going to add a friends list make sure it is condensed.
Put 'The Mctopian Network' at the bottom of your application in italics (In any way shape or form, just make sure it's only under italics) to show you've read these. You will not be accepted unless you do.
You must not make more than one application, if you want to start afresh, lock your last topic and wait one month before making another.
