The snow clawed through my light coat. The snow burned like fire on my skin. My bow dragged against the snowy ground. I was too tired to go into the trees, too cold to make shelter. I moved past trees, hoping for a house or a least a fire. Right now even the Nether would've been better. Golden light reflects off ice crystals in the air. Sunset. The sun moves farther down the sky. I stop, the gold light leaving the sky. My bow gripped tightly in my hand, my amber eyes glitter with determination. I will last another night. I have to. Zombies stumble closer through the trees, and their moaning cries fly through the icy air. I slide an arrow into my bow and shoot. One after the other, the zombies fall. an arrow whizzes by my head and I turn to duck under another arrow. My quick hands shoot another arrow, with a bull's eye straight through the head. Spiders surround me, red eyes gleaming with delight. One jumps forward and my reflexed hands fly to work, hitting the spiders as they grow closer. TThe biting cold doesn't bother me now. One wrong move and I'm dead. Tje ground around me is littered with the bodies of dead mobs. I sigh with relief. No more monsters tonight. The sun slowly rises higher, and the cold tries to nip me once again. But today, I don't let it. This is how I live. In the cold, fighting mobs. And that's what they call a Survivor. I am a Survivor.

My name is Steve I am the only survivor. I walk. I don't know why I love it so much but I do. It was a brisk and cold September morning and I was nursing a leg from one of those blasted creepers, such a lonely world filled with only monsters. I think about things when I walk, nice foods and beautiful houses. "Oh if only I could make these things" I thought to myself. I went down to the beach, sand is always nice there. Sitting on a rock isn't paradise but you learn to live with it. Watching the calm still ocean is somewhat, peaceful. I turn to head home but something catches my eye. Clouds. Dreadful things they are. Come in in a matter of seconds and allow the monsters to get out. I worry so I start to run. Have you ever tried running with a sore leg? It's more of a hobble and personally It makes me feel like an old grandparent. Louis used to have a trick to healing wounds, that trick didn't work on zombies. It wasn't always just me you know, there were others, 3 other people to be exact. Louis, our brains, Brian, our muscle, Jerry, the builder and little old me. Me Steve the survivor. Louis, as I said before, was killed by a zombie, he was the first to go. Brian fell of a cliff near water overhang ( an overhang with pools of water in the shade ) finally Jerry died by... -my senses tingle, what was that? All to soon I hear the pitter patter of that dreadful thing. Rain. All most as evil as evil itself that thing is. I left my sword at home,I didn't think I'd need it today, I left in the morning after all. I can hear them stirring, awakening. I run past a tree and up a cliff when suddenly an arrow whizzes past and misses by pixels. Skelton archer again, Im panicking, what do I do!? My survivor instincts take over, I guess that's why they called me the survivor, I brutally punch the skeleton off the cliff and see a pile of bones left. Nearly home. You can always trust a zombie to be around the corner being sneaky, that's just what I got too. I'm facing the zombie when I hear that all too familiar sound of an arrow flying to its target and I close my eyes for the impact. I die. Wait, no I don't, then what did it hit? I open my eyes to see a dead zombie, or should I say deadER, with an arrow in its back. Looking more I see. I see. Another human. "umm hi my name is Steve, thanks for saving me and all but, who are you?" "I am Isabel" she replied.
My name is Steve and I am NOT the only survivor. i shall continue it meta! Isabel stood there, half proud, half nervous. In all iron armor, except for a helmet, she looked rather intimidating, if you did not bother to look at her face. She held the look of an innocent little school girl, though she could not be younger than 25. Her long, jet color hair fell over her shoulder in a long, thick braid. Though on a day such as this, her cold plated armor did not keep her warm, and so she was shivering violently. I said, "You look miserable, here come in side." I lead her in, and noticed she was limping in her right leg. She put her arm around my neck, and I gently placed my arm around her back to support her. We slowly but surely headed inside, and she sat down on the large couch I had made out of my bear hands. I assisted her in removing the armor and noticed her clothes were soaked. Not wanting to remove them from her i simply gave her a warm leather coat, sat her next to the fire, and fed her some warm mushroom stew. Complementing me on my cooking prowess, she sat there for most of the night, reading one of the books I had taken from a dungeon. I tried to fall asleep, but I continued to thrash around and eventually just decided to stay awake with her. Sitting down beside her, I politely asked, "Are you okay?" No response. She just curled up in a ball and turned her head away, and began to sob uncontrollably. Through her heavy breaths she told me the story. "I grew up on this island okay? My parents raised me here, taught me to fight and gather and hunt for myself. I was walking home today, carrying a bunch of mushrooms and cane, then... then, then." Her eyes became gushing rivers. "My dad had been out hunting and..." she took a giant breath. "That DAMNED enderman. If only i had been there I could have helped them fight it, or at least die with them. Instead I had to watch them die. They aren't ever coming back." I wrapped my arms around her soothingly and tried to comfort her as best i could. She clung to me, scared of if she will make it or just grieving for the loss of someone that close to her. Then she added, "I was on my way to a ravine... to kill myself, when I saw you. TELL ME IF YOU THINK META OR I SHOULD CONTINUE!
