Below is my application for the position of Moderator on this server.
I am applying for this position because I strongly feel my current rank on this server is holding me back from the potential I have to be a Moderator. I believe that I can make a difference on McTopia, and enforce the rules that keep players happy, so they can enjoy their experience playing on this server. As a Moderator on this server, I would dedicate my labour into helping the needs of the players and making this distinguished server even better. I will also remain unbiased when resolving issues, and stay friendly, yet professional to all the players on McTopia.
I have past experience with staff positions on several other servers and not that long ago, I had a server of my own, so I know exactly what is expected of me and I will try to exceed these expectations - if I am accepted as a Moderator. I also know just how to Moderate a server, and I will aspire to be the best Moderator I can be.
I joined this server almost a year ago, whilst seeking a server that was unique, and had a friendly community (a rare quality in Minecraft servers). I found the IP address for the server on the website: 'http://minecraft-server-list.com/'. When I joined the server, I became instantly attached with the many opportunities available to players on the server. I have met some extraordinary people in my time spent on McTopia, and I have some very fond memories. Unfortunately, I have also seen the damage committed by insubordinate players, and the effects it has had on the players trying to enjoy themselves. As a business student, I know that customer service is key if a business is to thrive; I believe the same applies for McTopia. So, I think it is crucial that these matters are dealt with swiftly and professionally - something that I believe I am capable of doing.
With my current position on this server, I have helped out as many players as I can, with the powers available to me. Including; Helping players find a location to build, giving them advice on how to solve there dilemmas, and showing players the many fine establishments on the server for them to enjoy. These are just some of the many things I have done to benefit the server already.
With the rank Moderator, I would have access to new commands --Jail for instance-- which will allow me not to punish the players that have done wrong, but to rehabilitate them so they do not commit such offences like Griefing and discriminating other players again.
