While I've been temp banned..

While I have been temp banned, I have been away from minecraft and working on my videos. I decided to have a song in there, and decided to use Good Riddance by Green Day. I chose it because I want a slow acoustic song, and I know how to play the song well. But when I was singing it, I learned that the song had a lot of meaning to do with the video that I never cared enough to analyze lyrics. In this millennium, music has been mostly crap. Mainly from 2008 and on. The songs have the meaning right in front of your face, or you just play crap music like Lil Wayne music that has no meaning what so ever. Most rap songs today is about women, drugs, or alcohol. I have never liked rap anyways. Since I was about 7, I listened to Green Day. I liked their songs because they had a Blink 182 tone to it which I loved even though I am not a punk or scene kid. Most of the music I listen to is older than I am. After I realized Green Day's songs had meaning, I started re-listening to their other songs I love, and found one to be more interesting than the others. This song was called "21 Guns". I remember seeing it on the front page of MySpace when I was 10, an loved it because of the sound. Look up the song on Google
for lyrics, and I will tell you why I picked up from it and how it relates to my relationship with other people on this server.

The song says do you know what's worth fighting for, but not worth dying for on the first two lines. Don't fight over the little things when they really mean nothing when you come down to it. Let your past troubles stay in the past, an start a new life. Your pride can cause more trouble than help. Just give up the fight.

Now, the song is about a couple. The boyfriend doesn't think his girlfriend is as great as he thought. They started fighting for a while, then realized that they really love each other for the way they are.

Aww, that's tho thweet.

But the lyrics in the song can be used for so many situations in your life. I have always loved music from the 90's, but I have a higher respect for them, and found out that they mean more than it says. You may think it is just a piece of paper, but behind it is a book.

The song is very easy to play, but it is a really sad song. You know the song meaning by the one verse

"Like my fathers come to pass
Seven years has gone so fast
Wake me up when September ends"

His father died seven years before the song was written due to cancer, and he must have died in September, so he wants September to end fast to stay out of the misery of his Dad. I am depressed again now.

Edit: I figured out that the seven years part wouldn't make since. Seven years is the amount of time his dad had cancer.

Also not only do the songs have meanings themselves but they also have a second meaning for greenday. in the album american idiot the whole album has a story of its own. LOOK IT UP it is cool. wake me up when september ends is a good example. the songs meaning is about well look it up " title="Crying or Very Sad"> but in the story its about st jimmy feeling depressed and considering drugs. so they are musicians and story tellers its cool " title="Very Happy">

but there is more to it. at the funeral billie joe couldnt take it (lead singer) so he ran home, he was ten at the time. his mother followed him home only to find his bedroom door to be locked. when she asked him to please come out he replied with "' wake me up when september ends'' HE WAS ONLY TEN!!!
