I feel like donating should affect your chances, but in the slightest way.

Yes but for most of the money, he donated it for himself not purely for the server, I'm not saying this is bad, because, money doesn't grow on trees, but it won't affect your chances

Money does and should NOT effect your chances. Inspiron is coming for me to decide most of your promotions. And I don't give two craps if you donated or not. Hope that answers that question.

I never thought of it that way... But I have donated more than my fair share, I've donated for other people. So not all of my donations were for personal gain, for some members (now other ranked) players.
