New Forums Section Request

To some people, the forums are turning into facebook.

It isn't about the server anymore.

To me, the forums are about the server, but they have personal and off topic things also.

The great and powerful Space Cowboy, werwe56, suggest to have an off topic forum section.

I suggest calling it "General Chit-Chat" or "Off Topic"

Having this section would:

-Make genreal discussion about minecraft, and only minecraft

-Have a place for people to post personal stuff

-Attract more people to the forums from this section being so laid back

-Make the people who dont like reading personal stuff happy, because they can just not read this section


I'm pretty sure adding a section to the forums doesn't cost anything, so it isn't like we are taking away from the server.
(Besides, if it did, we have a LOT of donators)

No need. If you wanted to talk to people here like facebook, then add them on Facebook. We don't need a whole section for random stuff people want to post.

I think it was a silly comparison.

An off topic section is where we'd have games, and little fun topics.

Like the "FACES" topic.

That is the point of the forums. There isn't a need for a whole SECTION for a non-MineCraft-related stuff on a Minecraft forum.

most internet forums have an off topic, theres no reason not too have it. take things a little less seriously.
