Catching fish is completely random, even if both have autofish on. That they were catching fish at the same time is not impossible, but it's extremely unlikely that this was happening.

Also, autofish is kind of a passive mod. Granted, it's still a hack and should be punished, but no one is getting griefed, killed, angered, or spammed. A one day tempban seems like overkill for this circumstance, a few hours in jail would be more realistic.

The way auto fish works, is it doesn't make fish appear more frequently, that's controlled by the server, what it does, it automatically senses when fish appear, then auto right clicks, you could even do this with Macros keybinding mod.
It doesn't even deserve a jail really, considering it still takes the same time, and you can be kicked for afking anyways!
But I could be being too nice again, like I suppose I was with that guy who insulted Inspiron

I just think that since they are auto fishing, they are gaining an unfair advantage. I'm alright with mods and hacked clients, but turn them off on McTopia.
They can't be kicked for AFKing since they are clicking. If beast can prove there was a ton of spammed 'Dylann13 is no longer AFK' messages, it can somewhat be evidence. But they wouldn't even go afk if they are right and left clicking every 30sec to 1min. I'm with beast on the hacking part, but I've never heard of Moonpatato, so a 1 hour jail would of been more appropriate. I cannot say the same about Dylann, his punishment is fair

How is it am unfair advantage? Everything is the same except they miss out on timing errors...
I'm not saying it's good, I just think a warning woulda been better

The way auto-fish works is you just turn it on then go do something in real life and it'll automatically fish for yo, I have recently tested to see if you click left or right click if you will go unAFK and you do. I don't think it should be a few hour jail because auto fish is in a thing called a hacked client. Whenever Inspiron finds hacker he perm. bans them no matter who they are. I think anyone caught with hacks should be banned because they could of been using it ever since they joined the server. I know many people will disagree with this but this is my opinion about how this kind of stuff can be handled.

Autofish can also be downloaded separately, or in a modpack. It isn't always a part of a hacked client. If say one of them got done fishing then flew over to his house, then a perma ban would obviously be something to consider. But saying this is their first offence (I think) of using mods/hacking, I think that a ban is too much
