no, the people who own the diamond blocks can turn them into their 9 diamonds when the blocks get repealled. And they should already be inside people's lapis regions, so they can't get griefed.

I like them! =o It keeps people from walking around your precious areas and makes the game sooo much more fun xD I loooove being able to keep people from my secret signs and hidden library xD People don't need to see my stuff unless i want them to xD

i got an idea! how about instead of diamond blocks, we take atvatage of the new update. make the entry bouncer emerald block instead. its a bit more rare so it would mean people would have to try hared to earn it. this means people will think twice about wasting it on to placing it to troll others

Diamond blocks are harder to get aren't they? You have to find 9 diamonds, while you can trade with villagers to get 9 emeralds
