Ok, I'm gonna just come out and say this. Why is "bumping" something people get mad at? I mean honestly, as long as people don't go pages back looking to instigate, or bring up a random topic, there isn't anything wrong with making a post a couple of days late.

Often, people do bring bak topics to instigate, and that isn't okay. By getting rid of bumping, we get rid of that.
Have a knife in school isn't allowed, even if you don't use it for bad purposes.

That is a horrible comparison. No one was instigating. Nick was just making a comment. There is nothing wrong with that, because it's something he didn't see until now, and decided he wanted to say something. It was on the first page, and one of the most recent active threads on the section of the forums. There is nothing wrong with that, and it isnt a bump. You can bump a topic thats on the top any higher ._.

sorry for my comparison not being good enough lol
we dont allow bumping because it often leads to fights. this didnt, but if we start allowing bumping, many uneccicary arguments would break out.
it was a bump, even if it is minor.
we really just want this drilled into people's heads.
bumping = bad
