When I was in high school, we started at 7:05 and got out at 1:49. why not 7am to 2pm? -.-I hated that school. Also, I think American primary schools need a serious reform. I prefer the term schedules, as they are much easier to regulate and test instead of having two lumps that change dates all the time or letting the teachers decide. At my school, we often had our school-mandated midterms AFTER Christmas break. Do you take your finals AFTER you graduate? NO. Do you take your college midterms AFTER Christmas break? NO! -.- Freaking retarded @#$ %#@$# ^#$@$#@^&$@ $#@$#@%#@.

I really wish someone would just sit down with a year-view calendar and highlight all the holidays that people wish they would have off and make terms based on them. Teachers need to abide by the timelines provided by the school. School should be all year long but with adequate breaks between each term and days off on all the holidays.
