I agree with what Chall has said. This change has been needed for a long time. I can see a few flaws in it, but they can easily be addressed.
This proposal is good, as it makes McTopia Donors conform towards what most members of staff, and myself at least, have been saying for the better part of a year.
DONORS get donor commands.
STAFF get staff commands.
Now, I know many people like to use their staff commands, but in reality, they are more misused than effectively used. I am often seeing SuperDonors kicking each other for very trivial things, such as swearing and false jailing. The joke got old quick. I also often see people kicking themselves, as if to show the /kick command is a joke. We are constantly losing members due to donors kicking and jailing members for minor offences, such as 1 block griefs and swearing. This is not what we want.
I do acknowledge a few flaws in the plans, but they can be mostly negated. My two major concerns are:
Not enough Value for SD's, and not enough commands.
These can be solved in lowering the price of SuperDonor by $20, to $80. This only affects SuperDonor, not any other rank. We can also add new, fun commands to certain ranks. These can be fun, or privileges owed to people who really care about the server.
People may say "I paid $100 for SD, what now?" I reply to that with compensation, in the form of name alterations or $20 to donate for someone else to enjoy the server. Maybe even a long fabled name change, as added incentive!
Staff need more respect, and this is one way they can get it.
