is it even possible to be less taken? You are either taken or you're not, right?

Well, you can be taken, yeah. But to me it's not just a yes-or-no question of "are you taken".

Alright so...

philosophic life lessons w/professor tobes: subject - very very very taken
Being taken is weird, it's an oddity in itself to belong to someone and have them belong to you as well. If you're with someone, and someone asks you if you're taken, you'll naturally say yes. I do. But the complexity of that question stems from how dedicated you are. If you're 102% dedicated to the other person, if you're totally into them, if you're head over heels, if you're sick lovin, then you're very VERY taken. I've got a natural high, I'm happy everywhere I go, and a lot of things contribute to that. You guys do. My family does. School, friends...well. Little things. That's a different topic. He contributes to that a LOT and that's what defines me as "very very very taken".

But if you're only halfway in, if you're hot and cold, then you can be only a little taken. The word "taken" is an umbrella term...it includes the AMOUNT of you that the other partner owns. Someone who's only sorta taken isn't totally into their partner. Someone who's not taken doesn't have any connection to the other person. And someone who's very very very taken is completely the other person's. We joke around that we could sell each other if we wanted to, that's how much we're willing for the other person.[/i]

Tobi is all the way in with Slurp?
