Well, I'm a sociopath that's stuck in a small world everyday of my life. Luckily, my peers are less intellectual than I am, so manumitting them into my favor isn't a problem. I really try not to make friends, because I end up hurting them, or so they tell me. But whatever, as you said, who cares what they think. Also, self doubt, harm, etc. isn't the answer. Throw their insults and standards right back at them until they are right under your feet, where they belong.
