the minority is/more often used as a slur because it is less common, and something different for people to pick on

There is a triangle of order designed to show what it takes for a species survive, and as it goes higher onwards what they must get to thrive.
Whenever a species gets to the top of the pyramid, they may begin to change details, so that they make experience life different. Changing sex (for reproducing) is something humans have learned to do. They have changed it from a necessity of life, into a form of pleasure. This allows homosexuality. The world, having enough people to allow are species to thrive, allows it to change. Since homosexuality messes up the bottom of the pyramid, people find it wrong, but the fact of the matter is, we are already thriving. If people wish to turn the necessity of sex, into pleasure, our species will still live on. You don't have to pick on them because they are different.
