The people who make ridiculous town rules aren't following the last rule of member. I think in total, i have had 3 town rule problems. EVER. When people put dumb rules, they usually have them taken care of in the first hour. When people see stuff like "No one pvp's but me" they report it pretty fast.
If someone doesn't verify a town, does that mean there town isn't a town? Like seriously. "I didn't make a verification post, so no one can live here:/" Half the people on the server don't use the forums. How would they know to verify towns? There are too many things that are negative about this idea, to make the positive things worth the effort. Sorry Brooke, but this idea has been shot down. Good try, and I appreciate the effort you put into it, but this idea is just an idea, not much more.
I FREAKING HATE REPEATING MYSELF.
All of the points you made were ALREADY MENTIONED.
-It isn't much work. I could do it myself.
-I have had so many problems. "He killed me in my town! Jail him!" I'm never sure if I can or not, because of this one thing. The one thing that nearly every single post I've made was about.
THERE ISN'T A STABLE RULE.
-As I said, having a verified town would make the rules jailable.
-This one I actually didn't mention. Inspiron could put up a little thing in chat. You know how it says, "Don't advertise, not even in a private message" (or something) in chat? Something like "Ask a staff member if you want your town rules to be jailable"

Let me mention something thats been bugging me for a LONG time.
The main point of this post was to get a stable rule. The thing is, this isn't the only thing that isn't stable. We have next to no jailing guidelines. We know what to jail for, but the times are completely opinionated. We don't have a stable rule like 10 minutes per block. Or 1 hour for small grief. Nothing. We just go with whatever we think is right. Now, you guys might think "Oh, it would be a pain to come up with this rule; there will be flaws"
WELL NO DUH.
We will never have a flawless rule. NEVER. Once we have a rule in place, we FOLLOW the rule.
There will always be a bug in the system. An exception. That is why I came up with the idea for the council. Inspiron isn't very active on the forums or server, and we all know that. We do have admins, but they aren't very active. Dungeon is rarely on. Chall is not on the server a lot. Kittens comes on occasionally, but not enough. Emmy comes on the server quite a bit, but she doesn't deal with this kind of stuff. She doesn't jail people a lot. NOTE- I think that's fine. Everyone has their thing. luvugurl.
My point- We need people who are able to create rules and enforce them. Currently, our admins don't have the power to change things. Inspiron, as the server owner, should notice this. Inspiron is busy, and he knows that he runs a server. He isn't an idiot, by any means. I think that he should give our current admins enough power to tend to the server.
Metaphor- The server a garden. The players are seeds. Inspiron has to water the seeds for the us to grow, and make the garden beautiful. Inspiron doesn't have enough time to water the seeds, which is okay. But he is the only one that can access the water. There are other people willing to water the seeds, but they can't.
Get it? Hopefully.
I think we need more admins. Personally, I'm not very active on the server, because I don't have anything to do. If I was an admin, I'd have a job to do.
Inspiron is most likely still a bit nervous because of the fatboomer thing. Our current admins are absolutely WONDERFUL. Inspiron might not realize that he can trust you guys 100% yet.
tldr; The admins should have more power and they should be able to make stable rules.
Thank you.
1. I'm sorry I have a life that includes sports, tutoring and school projects/homework so I'm not always on. Kay? I'm sorry my internet is sketchy and suckish and my laptop has problems with everything.
2. So far every staff member who has replied to this topic has vetoed the idea, in one way or another.
Okay? The people who you are proposing to act on this idea are vetoing it.
Not that much support from the people who are going to do it.
3. I will say once again that there are too many towns to keep track of. Most of the people who own towns own more than one, and don't have a forums account.
This is a great idea, but it is too large to put into action, because most people either don't have a forums account or are not on the right timezones so they would never get their town verified. If we were a smaller server this idea might work.
