Or you can do the easy meta way, rather than getting multi mc you copy the 1.4 bin, put it someone out of your .minecraft (Ie desktop) update, it will add a new bin. Then when you want the old one simply delete the 1.5 version and paste in your 1.4, when the launcher loads do not press update and you're good to go
