As Inspiron said, Matt should work on his social skills, knowing plugins isn't everything.
Being a Social and active friendly admin/SD/mod/member...you get the point... makes people respect you. It makes them want to listen to you, as they know you are trying to help.
Thats what I've learned from being on McTopia.
And Boo, the past is the past, and Matts worked ever so hard to change after that happened.
