"Ellie. I can't we believe we are going to New York! I haven't been there in... a while..." I trailed off.
"Do you think he'll be there, Ellie? We met at that cafe. It seems like it has been forever..." I wondered, a single tear sliding across my cheek.
Sniffing, I brushed it away.I reached into my closet, and pulled out my tan bag. I toss in basic things, like a toiletries, and some clothing. I grab a few books for the plane ride.
Looking down at my necklace, I focus on the silver key. My necklace has 8 keys. The silver key is Ellie. My baby...
"I hope you make it through the metal detectors," I said, forcing a grin for Ellie's sake.
I slip on my heels, double check to make sure I didn't forget anything, and shut the door behind me. As I drive my tiny red car to the airport, I can't help but turn on the radio.
"Four airports bombed! None dead, one injured, and four missing, one at each airport. Their names are Lux, Tess, Emma and Lyra."
I slam on the breaks, almost slamming into a SUV. I jam the radio off, almost cracking the button. Those were the names of the winners. The ones who were flying to New York, along with me. It worried me because those weren't exactly common names. Emma was a bit common, but Lux sure as heck wasn't. Panic blinds me as I pull over to the side of the road. Was it a trap? I took a few seconds to mull it over.
"This doesn't seem right, Ellie," I whispered, as I drove back onto the road, "But, 'Doesn't seem right' is just where I fit it."
I drive the rest of the way in silence.
When I arrive at the airport, it is like I am in a trance. I'm plenty alert, I just chose to direct my focus elsewhere.
"They aren't dead, Ellie. I know it,"I think to myself.
Once I make it through security, I wander over to a Starbucks. I was a little bit early, and I had enough time for some coffee. A girl about my age takes my order. She is one of those people who make it clear she doesn't like her job. Then again... he had that look when I met him...
"Uh, ma'am? Hey, dude! I need your name," the girl said, waving a hand in front of my face.
"Oh, um, sorry. My name is Lacy" I replied. The girl scribbles it down on the cup. When my drink was ready, I grabbed it, and meandered towards where my gate was.
Just as I see my gate number, I sense something is wrong. VERY wrong. Someone grabs the bottom of my shirt, and I jump.
A very small toddler tugs on the end of my shirt. She... she looked like Ellie when she was here.
"Ellie?" I whisper. The girl nods, and a smile. This is the first sign I've gotten in a month or two.
"Ba ba ba ba ba ba. Ba BA" the little girl said.
"Ba?" A wave of realization hits me. Bomb The little girl, Ellie's sign, smiles, and vanishes.
"Ellie!" I shout. Bomb I dash into some restaurant. It was an airport, so the restaurant was obviously small. I covered my eyes and ears, and brace myself.
The explosion is giant. A small chunk of the ceiling crumbles down, and I drift into unconsciousness.

We'd all be flying out of different airports, so I made sure all of the airports were bombed individually.
