Hello, I'm Jamourous, and I use a Modded (Hacked) Client. I more specifically use Nodus, which is an easy to find client, and is discontinued as the maker no longer develops.
Ok, that is a clean admission done... I should probably extrapolate more on the topic:
1: Why do I use Nodus?
I use nodus as an improvement tool, which people can have complaints against. I must state that Nodus is the only mod I can install cleanly as Mac and Minecraft mods are not exactly friends. By using Nodus, I have at my disposal many tools, some more melicious than others. I use ONLY the safe hacks (FullBright, Tracers (I will tell more about Tracers later) and Radar) with no ill effect to the server from what i've heard.
2: How much actually works of McTopia?
Not a lot actually, As a highly popular client, the serverside mods are minimal, with Derp mode the only one not drawing the attention of Anti-Cheat, but Derp mode is highly visible to other players... The only mods that don't draw attention of anti-cheat are Client-Side, examples include; Fullbright,Radar, Tracers (Still going to tell you soon), Daytime (Client-Side) and the worst of all, Xray... I personally don't use X-ray but I am aware that people use it on the server by Texture Packs. Out of all those, none pose a serious risk of damage or demolishion of buildings, plus HawkEye would still catch me, as I found out on Sunday when I was doing covert repairs on abandoned and griefed houses, and was caught by the watchful GameGraft.
3: What do I have to say about my Tracer mode?
My tracer mode is binded to the T key of my keyboard, added (Stupidly) by me...
4: Why is Nodus Bad?
I will admit Nodus is bad, It is known to destroy entire servers (See 'NodusGriefing' on youtube) in a matter of hours. Because of the nature of these attacks, I must add this disclaimer:
I, Jamourous, Do not Condone Griefing, it is a stupid and destructive hobby practiced by haters of the all glorious Minecraft
With that in mind, I will not be disclosing websites or information on how to obtain or install clients.
I hope I have been open to you about the client, and I reiterate; It is the only mod I can install. I'd rather explain myself than cover up the fact... and from now on, will TURN OFF Nodus when I visit McTopia.
