California is cool xD it's just that lawmakers tend to take things too far. Yeah, going pee outside is definitely illegal, but does that make you a sex offender..? LOL! I think they only implemented that law because they had such a problem with the smell of urine everywhere. But making the law more harsh isn't going to stop people from urinating outside; it will only make the ones who could have escaped poverty stuck in it forever unless they find someone who is sympathetic towards sex offenders... If someone explained to me that they were a sex offender only because they had peed outside because they were homeless at one point in their life I would be a little more lenient. However, you could never really tell if that person was telling the truth, or if they did indeed have perverted issues.
I'm just saying instead of making it harder on people, why not provide some sort of permanent solution instead of using an infected band aid. Perhaps they could simply make a public restroom or something like that... Of course that would only be something that drains from the lawmakers' pockets...
