In California you can be charged with being a sex offender for peeing in public. This is directed towards homeless people who have no place to pee, especially at night. During the day there are certain places that will let you use their restrooms if you buy something. But what homeless person has money? So basically you have to sneak to use the restrooms during the day and pee outside at night. This could really ruin someone's life who was just down on his/her luck and could otherwise have a job. But wait, they are a sex offender so they won't get hired. And they are homeless because they couldn't get a job. And they couldn't get a job because they were caught being homeless.
