Chapter omg how should I know
"can we go for a walk? A family re united walk? well...." I tear comes to my eye but I wipe it away with my arm. Everyone misses Colli.
"Sure" Ahri says.
Everyone comes outside.
"Where shall we head?" Alice asks.
"Into the woods!" I tell her. We walk to the edge of the trees and begin our walk. I keep track of where we head so we don't get lost. The leaves rustle and birds chirp. A woodpecker pecks at the bark of a tree in search for bugs. A squirrel darts up a nearby tree. I see a long tan tail coming out from under a den under a tree.
"a wildcat!" I whisper excitedly. The den was large. I lean over to peak in a bit.a few others do too. I could see a figure, a tan figure with darker stripes. It turned and saw us. It's brown eyes shone in the darkness of the den.
Wow. I thought. I get to see a wildcat on my birthday, the day before my birthday actually. The sun came out from behind a cloud and made me shut my eyes. I hope it didn't run away. it didn't. But it did do something. It crawled out and transformed into a human. it was a girl with dark brown hair in a ponytail. She wore boots and jeans and had brown eyes. She had tan cat ears and a striped tail. She was around 13 or 14. There was a band of freckles across her nose and cheeks. The others walked up next to me.
"Who are you guys?" She asked.
"We are Ahri, Alice, Avi, and.." I tell her our names and gesture to each family member as I say there name.
"and who are you?"
"My name is Avery"
