MASON'S POV
I will never fall for Ahri's deceiving, flirtatious powers ever again. She messed with my mind once, and I made sure its impossible for such things to repeat themselves. I returned to the home after being gone for 24 days. nearly a month, and no one seemed to care! Nobody except James, who brought me home after he found me out cold in the unforgiving snow. The frost blanketing my face, he rushed me back. You may blame it on me being hungry, or dehydrated, but the dragons left enough scraps for me to rummage through and eat as much as I wanted. I melted some snow under the fire for me to drink. So why did I pass out you ask? I found exactly what I needed to surpass Ahri's magic. While gazing through her mind, I found her weakness. I found if I ate this special flower, that most people avoid to to the fact that eating it causes instant paralysis, you will be immune to her deceptive magic. If i was to return to the house, I HAD to do it. I wasn't going to risk being deceived again. Before I ate the dangerous vegetation, I did something special. something only my brother could ever understand. I used my powers to make lightning strike 1,2,3 miles away from the house. I then lit a fire, that made plenty of smoke. i ate the flower, and let James do the rest. I was at the home. being awakened by even more newcomers, Chives and Emma.
The ones my brother and I must avoid...

EMMA'S POV
I saw Mason come home covered in frost. I didn't even realize he was gone. Oh well, I'll apologize to him later.
After I had gone hunting, I felt much better. My eyes no longer glowed red, and I could breathe straight. I found chives in the forest on my way home. He was tracking something. He still looked a little beat up from when Ahri taught him a lesson. When I said I could heal him, he refused. I frowned. I followed him for a little bit, But when he started to shake from exhaustion, I told him he had to go home. While we walked home, he had to lean on me. I said nothing, on the inside I was smiling. When we got into the foyer, I smelled mason and James. Ah. They can help me. I didn't think that chives would listen. For me to have him go to bed. I couldn't smell pure anywhere.
"James, can you come down here?"
I don't think I've ever talked around chives before. He stared in aw at me when I talked. I wonder why.
When James came down, chives just stares at him. When James waled up to help me carry chives up the stairs, he slapped James! Then James made a mistake. He punched Chives in the gut. He dubbed over, they passed out. I snarled. James backed up, knowing the mistake he had just made. I gently laid Chives down on the ground, then ran around James in a circle. Once I had confused him, I slapped his face. He fell to the ground unconious. I knew pure would never forgive me for killing him. So I just drank enough blood of his to have the same amount of his strength, then used it to get chives up the stairs into purse room. She still wasn't there, so I layedchives down on her bed. I then healed him, but I was exhausted after the healing. I tried to make it down stairs to wake up James, but I collapsed halfway there. I fell down the stairs and hit my head on the wood banister. Everything went black.

PURE'S POV
I woke up in James' room. Again. I tried to sit up, but I had a pounding headache.
"Ugh. This will take a while to heal" I mumbled.
"Pure?" James called from the hallway, "Are you awake?"
"Yeah..." I said.
James ran in the room, badly bruised.
"Oh my god... What happened to you?" I said to him, shocked.
"Your kidnappers sure put up a fight. Everyone used fire spells, and well... I got hit by one" James said. He sat on the edge of the bed.
"Where? Who hit you?" I asked.
"Um, Ahri did. But she doesn't know she hit me. She is mad enough at herself, no need to make her feel worse. It's on my shoulder. I was a bear, and I tried to attack the men. Pure... They got away. And they know where you live now. You need to be extra careful." he told me.
"Lemme see," I said, pulling his arm closer. I rolled up his sleeve and gasped. It was bad. Definitely infected.
"You HAVE to tell Ahri. This could kill you. You... you can't die." I cried.
James said, "No... I can no-"
"AHRI!!!!" I screamed. "HELP!"
James shook his head, and laughed. Brushing back my hair, he said "A bit overprotective"
Ahri zoomed inside.
"Pure, ohmigosh, and you ok?" she worried.
"I'm ok, but James isn't. You hit him with a fire spell" I told her.
"IDIOT. I'M AN GODDAMNED IDIOT." I screamed, "I can't believe how STUPID I am!"
"I. Don't. Care. FIX HIM" I shouted, starting to cry.
"Shh... Pure calm down... I'm fine..." James said. His face was pale. I felt his forehead.
"James, you are burning up. Lie down." I commanded. I scooted over, and James sat next to me.
"Ok. This will take a few days, and it will hurt. My fire spells are meant to kill." Ahri said.
I buried my head in James' chest, and he put his good arm tightly around me. Ahri started to clean out the wound, and James was clearly in a lot of pain. He held me tighter.
After around an hour, Ahri left, so James could prepare for the next round of healing.
I went to get water, when james pulled me back down.
"Stay. Please." he managed to say.
So I did. We lay there for around 10 mins before I fell asleep.
I awoke the next day still in James' arms. Ahri came back in and brought us breakfast.
"I'll do another round." Ahri said.
It was like that for 3 days. James never let go of me. The days were long, and painful. The nights were cold, and peaceful.
I realized in those 3 days that I unconditionally loved James.

PURE'S POV
"Where is Chives?" I asked James after he was recovered.
"Umm... I'll show you" James said.
He walked me to my room, where I saw a badly injured Chives laying on my bed.
"Chiivveess. You need to stop getting in trouble! I don't like blood stains on my bed." I told him, giggling. I knew Chives was fine, because although he could feel pain, he healed VERY quickly, and could never die because he was immortal.
"Ahri?" I said.
"Yeah?" She replied
"Since Alice is... well... gone.... could Chives stay in her bed?" I asked
"Sure, whatever" she replied.
ROOM SETUP

PURE'S POV
I was walking downstairs with James, when I saw Emma.
Laying on the stairs.
Passed out.
On a WOODEN BEAM.
Oh crap.
An hour later, Emma was in her room slowly waking up. Ahri was asleep.
"FAMILY MEETING!" I called.
Everyone that was in the house came into the room.
"Look at Ahri. She is completely overworked. We have to stop getting hurt," I told them.
"Yeah..." Ahri muttered, then continued snoring.

EMMA'S POV
When I woke up again, I was in my bed. I had a lump on my forehead, and my head was spinning. I couldn't breathe. I reached under my bed and grabed a key. I went over to a hole in the wall, and inserted the key. It turened. My head started to spin, I needed blood. There was a boy, about 17, lying in the room. I pressed a button in the wall, and a plate of food and drink came up from a platform in the floor. I drank some of the kid’s blood, then kissed him on the cheek. Its okay Cal, you are in a better place now. I’ll introduce you to my family soon.

ALICE'S POV
It seemed like while since we arrived in FantasyLand.
Jack and I were happily still together.
Cho and Ariana both found loves of their own, who I approved of.
Now and then, my mirror floated to my side and I asked it to show me memories. It normally showed me pictures of Jack, Cho, Ariana, and Skeeter. Pictures of me ruling FantasyLand. Me and Jack together, when he first asked me out. Me and Cho gossiping, then calling Ariana to come join us.
But sometimes it showed me memories that I didn't recognize. Memories of girls with fox ears. Memories of bird girls and dragons. Memories of two brothers...one was a tiger, and the other was an animagus. Memories I wasn't familiar with.
But the mirror never lied, so I assumed them to be true. I assumed them to be simple memories that I had forgotten in the time I was in FantasyLand. I shrugged them off...I had a notorious habit of forgetting things.
I had been working on beauty lately. I was trying to be cuter than ever. I once spent fifteen minutes in the mirror perfecting my smile, trying to adjust the way my mouth moved for maximum cute factor. I needed to portray a good image. After all, I ruled a whole world in the palm of my hand. Not to boast but the people thought of me as a good ruler, and I tried to keep that up.
Smooth skin. Glowing eyes. Confident expression.
I liked all of this to add to the image I was a confident girl and leader.
That night, as I sat in bed, I decided I should pay a visit to the Spirit Land. Ii was the Princess of Spirit Land. Calling my magic mirror, I asked it to take me to spirit land. Immediately it expanded to a full-length mirror, then morphed into a glowing blue portal. Stepping through, I felt my body suck into a space of nothing as I was transported to the Spirit Land: a huge multiverse where spirits like me (Talon) could mingle with the other spirits.
Stepping on the red path trimmed with gold, I walked around the Spirit City, a calm, serene, city with shops and restaurants and kiosks all around. I stopped by Merlina's Ice Cream, my favorite ice cream parlor. Merlina was at the counter and she beamed when she saw me. "Hey, Tal!" She called out.
I grinned. "I'm great, Lina! How are you? Long time no see."
"I know. I'm fine. What can I get you?" She smiled, even though she knew perfectly well what I wanted.
"I'll take the usual."
"One scoop mint cookie crush, one scoop valentine raspberry, one scoop triple fudge dutch chocolate?" She grinned.
I laughed. "You know it."
She scooped up my ice cream and gave it back.
"That'll be one bottle of Fire Resistance II." In Spirit Land, we used potions, enchantments, and spells as currency.
I gaped at her.
"Fire Resistance II?!" Lina snickered.
"Just kidding. Take the dang ice cream and get out of here."
I stuck my tongue out at her and left.
Licking my ice cream, I strolled around, enjoying the familiar streets. I waved hello to the people I knew, and smiled at the people who I didn't know, but for some odd reason knew me.
I walked down to the subway station. Unlike other subway stations on Earth, Spirit Land subway stations were clean, always had fresh paint, had reliable, trustworthy snack stands, and smelled fragrant and clean. They were a great place to have a cup of coffee. In fact, although it seems odd, there were little coffee tables set up everywhere. That's how clean it was. The subways weren't even that noisy, it was almost like white noise.
I was still craving ice cream, so I ordered a chocolate milkshake, which was oddly enough served at the coffee shop. The girl working the counter was about my age, with black cat ears and pin-straight red hair. Her nametag read "CHERRY". I payed her in one spell of wisdom, made to last for an hour. She seemed nice enough, but I soon was proved wrong. She called out to my back,
"Hello, Princess Talinella."
I whirled around. Whoever called me by my full name either didn't know me well enough, or was trying to annoy me.
But it was neither of those. Cherry's big eyes had turned lime green. Her figure lengthened to a graceful, curved shape. Her coffee shop uniform ripped off to reveal an earthy green dress. Her hair melted off and was replaced with flowing brown locks, curled to dozens of ringlets.
She seemed nice, peaceful, and good.
All that was a lie.
"Hello, Princess Peregrine."
Peregrine was the princess of the Dark Spirit Land. She existed to haunt things. She had the ability to heal anything, and looked sweet and friendly, but all that was a mask she wore to conceal what was underneath: a cruel, cold woman who wanted to cause pain in the world. Peregrine gained the trust of children, healing their pets and giving them temporary good advice...but as soon as they threw themselves into her arms, she slowly and painfully began to haunt them. The worst part, she had the ability to shape shift, and she commonly shifted into a form that looked like me.
That's why everyone thought Talon was a bad creature.
I smoothed my bunny ears.
"What do you want, Peregrine."
Her cold, doll-like eyes shone in a false, cruel smile. "Just swung by your half of Spirit Land to say hi."
"You know you're not welcome in the good half."
She wore a look of false innocence. "But, we are friends, aren't we? Friends would cross any boundary to see each other."
I growled in the back of my throat. "Get out of here, Peregrine." Quickly, I called my mirror to my side and had it light some magic orbs on fire. I held them floating in the air, threatening to use them.
Simply and just as quickly, Peregrine called her own mirror (a black, broken copy of mine) and called the same, flaming orbs.
Not wanting to frighten any passerbys, I glared and set out the orb.
"Not here. Not now."
"So be it. I've got better things to do."
Curiosity got the best of me. "Like what?" I spat.
"I've been seeing this bird-girl for her whole life. And I'm about to make her whole world crumble."
Glaring with fiery eyes, I asked, "How so?"
"Well first I'm going to kill her pet dragon. Again." She ticked off a finger on her left hand.
She glanced at me. "Did I mention it's a Platinara?"
I scoffed. "Impossible. The next Platinara will only be born when I die."
She smiled cruelly. "Unless it's a clone. From the Dark Spirit Land."
Gasping quickly, I reset my poker face. "Just get out of here." I spat.
"So be it." She grinned.
"Cherry Albus, come back!" She screamed, and her figure plumped up slightly. Her hair brightened to the old red shade, and cat ears popped up. Her coffee girl uniform materialized out of thin air on her body, and a rill of freckles dotted her face.
She looked confused and lost.
She opened her mouth, like she was trying to say something. I ran to her aid, to comfort her. Being possessed is no fun thing. It drains you.
But when she spoke, it was as if nothing happened.
"I'm sorry, did I add the whipped cream in your milkshake?"
With great effort, I smiled at her, and nodded. Running up the stairs, I exited the Subway Station and gripped my magic mirror. Calling the portal, I stepped through and squeezed my eyes shut. I popped through on the other side, in FantasyLand. Breathing hard, I ripped open my desk drawer. Rifling through the contents with shaky hands, I found a pad of pink sticky notes and a pen.
Scribbling in shaky print, I wrote,
URGENT NOTE TO SELF:
FIND THE BIRD GIRL

AVI'S POV
James and Chives were both hurt, but that really didn't matter to me. I was running around the house, with Sparky on my tail. Now I sometimes call him Prince Tutsoya. Everyday I have to give him water, which required going to the river and getting cold water on my hands.
"Mah wings are almost in Ahri! They are almost in!" I tell her with cheer
"Good for you!" She replied.
If only Alice could see it
when my wings grow in, sparky and I could practice flying together. His little voice was starting to sound a little like Alice's, when she roared. The boy I met the other day, Aaron, seems to live in the woods. I wasn't sure if he was a human or not, though.
ttrrrrtrrrrrrrrrrrraTrrrrrra
I could see my little prince looking up at me, probably tired. I gave my pillow to him as a bed. And used my sheets as a blanket. I tucked him in and flipped the light off. I was near the stairs when I heard
Scrrrrrr
I saw his little face, he missed me. he was scratching on the door. I let him out and he jumped on my shoulders. I can't really imagine life without him, if he died for good. well I kinda can. I would be forever mad at James and I would always be sad. I flipped on the TV, and he ran off only to jump on Ahri.
Trrrrrrr
I watched for a few minutes. Well I thought it was a few minutes, it was an hour, and I turned off the TV. only realizing the time when Ahri called out
"Dinner!"
sparky, knew that call by now, he knew it ment food. He finished his food quickly, so I snuck him some of my apple, only to spit out cause he didn't like it. He still needed to be trained. He just jumped on the table knocking over a glass of water.
"Bad!" Colli told him and shooed him off the table. knowing he was my responsibility I got up and cleaned up the mess. In a few days I wont clean up his messes for once, because in a few days, was my birthday.

COLI'S POV
A week had passed since Alice left. I had been studying all my spells, and my visits to Aurora had been getting longer. She was teaching me how to transform, but I couldn't. I don't know why, I guess it was prohibited in dreams. Today a large dusty book was open, with the sub title of "All about Transforming". Finishing a paragraph, I quickly jotted down a few notes. In my desk drawers were thick stacks of messy cards. Lately I have been copying certain details and spells that wwe important to me. Already I had five spells in there, all with good juicy details. Right now I was figuring out why I couldnt transform. Nothing good had showed up. 'There is a small chance that it is impossible for you to transform, and in that case do not continue trying to transform.' Worst news yet. Suddenly I flipped the page, disappointed that there was one paragraph left. Excitement bubbling through my veins, I skim the paragraph.I bet the answer will be here! I froze. My skin grew pale and I was nervous. WHY did it have to be this way?
"Time for dinner!" Today was Thanksgiving! Quickly pushing away the feeling of dread, I ran downstairs. Everyone was seated, tails and ears straight up and the pairs of eyes were filled with glee. Taking my seat, My tummy rumbled with excitement. This was our first holiday as a family! Ahri had caught a big chicken for this, and we all helped make good food. We were poor in many ways, but we made this our best dinner ever. Ahri levitated out dishes, one with a giant turkey that looked salted, roasted, and ready for eating. "'Thank you Notch for giving us all this wonderful food.'" We said that for special dinners, which wasn't often. Ahri suddenly spoke again. "Dig in, everybody!" I ripped a drumstick off and bit deep into it, sucking in all the delectable flavor. It was roasted, which we didn't do much for some odd reason, so it added an extra layer of goodness. The heat burned my tongue, but I didn't care. It was too good to notice! Looking around, I picked out some bread, which I salted, yes salted, and ate. The salt made it better to me. The brea was fluffy and warm, filled with delight from the previous days of cooking and hunting. Everyone else was happy, though Purity had a nagging fear that the men would find her. All our troubles floated away in the warm scents of the food. We shard how good the food was, and how lucky we were to find some of them. "I can't believe we found that wheat! Lucky that Emma found that." Avi said. Finishing up the last bits of food, I choked down the last bit of chicken. Our stomachs bulged and we all groaned with delight. I walked back to my room, and my fear returned. I remembered why I couldn't transform. Had she been misleading me? Or maybe it was a good thought, and didn't mean for me to get disappointed. Whatever it was, I was asking her tonight. Aurora would know.

PURE'S POV
It's 11 PM. I head into my room to see Chives in my bed.
"CHIVES. OUT," I command.
"Wha-" he stammered. "Purrrrre. But where will I sleep?"
"Where Alice used to sleep," I told him. I grabbed the few items he had, and walked over to the boys' room. Plopping down the stuff under Alice's old bed, I said "Your new room. Now the boys have their own room. You, Mason (when he is here), and James"
"No way. I am NOT sharing a room with James. He wants to take away your purity." he said, "And," he continued, lowering his voice, "I don't think James likes me"
"No duh, sherlock." I said.
"See?! You purity is slipping away! If that boy wasn't here, you wouldn't of been so rude!" he retorted.
"If I has to chose between my purity, and James, i'd pick James. It is MY choice, not yours!" I countered.
"I am your older brother! I WANT WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU!" he shouted.
"Everything ok?" James said, walking in the room.
"NO!" we both shouted.
"I CAN'T HAVE IT. YOU ARE LEAVING. AND NEVER COMING BACK!" Chives screamed.
"NO! You can't make me!" I snapped back.
"Watch me." Chives said. He picked me up. I fought back, but I was very weak. James started to transform.
"NO JAMES!" I shouted.
"Why?! He is going to take you! I CAN'T LOSE YOU AGAIN!" He cried.
"Chives is STRONG, James. He could and WILL hurt you! Ahri is weak, and couldn't heal you guys! If she tried, she would DIE! And so would you! I CAN'T LOSE CHIVES!
I CAN'T LOSE YOU! " I shouted at the top of my lungs.
"Pure! I would, and WILL die for you!" James started.
"You know what happens if my True One dies? I DIE. WE CAN'T DO THAT. JUST LET US GO!" I cried.
Stepping back, James said, "I'll find you. I'll save you."
Chives carried me downstairs, and out the door.
"I love you!" I screamed back.
"I... I love you to Pure." James said.
"DON'T FORGET ME!" I shouted. Chives was moving fast, and I could barely hear his reply.
"I WON'T!" James screamed.

ALICE'S POV
The following morning was like every other one.
Jack and I were inseparable. Everywhere one went, the other followed. I softened his heart. I began breaking through his cool outer shell, and it revealed a warm, kind guy underneath the smirking outside layer.
Curled on the couch, we sat together watching some romantic comedy. Well, not really watching. Just letting the movie play as background noise while we sat there and enjoyed each others' presence. It was a warm, happy little mushy-gushy scene.
I was lost in thought. That bird girl was troubling me. It was mean how Peregrine was going to kill her pet dragon, but there was something underneath that. I felt a strange connection to this girl...a big sisterly connection. And I knew that Peregrine wasn't going to stop at killing her pet. She was going to delve much deeper, into deeper layers that would never heal. She would traumatize this girl, and kill her from the inside out.
"You okay love?" Jack looked down at me, his gray bunny ears cocking slightly.
I beamed. "I'm fine. Just give me a second." I hummed my tune, and the mirror came to me. Jack watched in silence.
"Mirror..." I said. The mirror and I were good friends. The mirror actually had a soul and a personality. It was just like a person...just with a body that was a handheld mirror.
"Hi Talon. How are you." The mirror was prim and proper, but could be sarcastic and rowdy and all around a whole lot of fun.
"Show me...the bird girl that Peregrine wants."
A girl appeared on the mirror. She was yawning...I suppose she had just woken up. She got up and inspected her back in a large mirror on the wall. What was she looking for?
"She's looking for wings." The mirror knew me so well, it knew what I was thinking. It couldn't read thoughts, it was just very well acquainted with how I work.
"Tell me everything you know about her."
"Well I know everything about her, how do you expect me to do so...?" I could hear the smile in Mirror's voice. I rolled my eyes.
"Just give me the basics."
"Fine. She's half bird, half girl. She has a pet dragon, which is a Platinaria brought from the dark side." I could hear the surprise in her voice.
"She's young. The youngest in her family. And she's destined to marry a bird-boy of her kind."
"You forgot her name."
"Excuse me?"
"Her NAME, Mirror." I rolled my eyes. Jack snickered. He thought it was funny how I was talking to Mirror so casually, like a real person. Mirror's real name was Reflecta, but I called her Mirror.
"Oh. Her name. Avi."
A bell went off in my head. I remembered that name from somewhere, I don't know where, though.
"Okay mirror. Thanks."
"Your wish is my command." She put on a snooty, butler-like voice.
She lingered in the air, hanging there.
"Um, Mirror...leave us alone!" I laughed. The roses carved into Mirror's sides turned bright red, her way of blushing.
"Sorry." Mirror quickly flitted away.
I laughed and curled myself into Jack's arms, now fully tucked under his hold. It was my favorite place to be, secured in his hold like that.
"How are you, my favorite Slovakian Wedgehorn." I bopped his nose, like someone taught me. I don't remember who taught me to bop noses, all I remember was them doing it to me repetitively.
"I'm good. How are you, my favorite Platinara." He tucked my hair behind my ear. I blew it back.
"I don't like my hair behind my ears."
"I do."
I huffed. "Fine." I let him tuck it behind my ear again.
Curled up, I started to drift off.
I don't NEED a portal to go to Spirit Land.
The other way to get there is to think about it before you sleep.
And that's what I did.
I met a certain bird-girl while I was there.

AHRI'S POV
i heard a knock on the door. i walked over to go get it, but emma was already there. when she opened it, it was chives. that explains why she was there to open it... Chives looked worried.
"Is there something wrong?" emma said in her loving voice.
"I need to speak with ahri" he said to emma, and started walking twords me
"My tribe, they are planning to invade this place. they want to kill james so that pure will never lose her purity. i broke off from the tribe to warn you, but they wouldnt let me bring pure.
"WHAT?!?!?!?!?" I Screamed
"I acted SO stupidly then, i wish i could change what i have done." he said sincerely. I calmed myself down, this was not a time to be angry
"How many?" i asked
"around around 50 - 60, they are bringing the whole tribe." he replied
"emma? do you think we can handle it? we have Colli, Me, You, and James." i said to her.
"Do they have any special abilities?" emma asked chives.
"Not really, but they are GREAT fighters. and the leaders are the strongest of the bunch..."
"How many leaders?" i asked
"Three" he replied
"How long do we have?" i asked
"About a week" he said back. I sighed, i would have to teach colli a set of damaging magic within a week... perhaps we could get repaire to help also... i will NOT allow avi into the battle. and i really dont think mason is willing to come out of the woods.
"The leaders are Courage, Fortitude, and Fear."
"Fear?" emma asked curiosly "Arent your kind named after good emotions?" she inquired
"They ran out" he shrugged "I would take care when it comes to her, she can make you lose faith in everything in an instant."
emma laughed "She has never met me, ill show her REAL fear!" She grinned, showing her fangs
"Who, is this "Fortitude"? chives?" i asked. i had might as well know about the rest of the leaders, they will put up the biggest fight...
"She is a priest, she specializes in magic such as healing and shields." he said matter of factly
"Easy target for colli, she only has so long to learn a set of spells, so we sould give her fortitude."
"She is an easy target, but she is protected by Courage. Courage is the decision maker of the tribe. HE is the one who decided to take pure back. be careful with him, he is like a WALL. not easily taken down." chives informed me.
"Emma, would you help me with him please? i wont be able to take him down alone." i told her.
She looked dissapointed
"But i wanted to take down Fear!" She pouted.
"Ill let colli handle her until we take courage down, then you can show her REAL fear" i smiled.
"How come you cant take down courage alone?" Chives asked tentatively "You could take me down easily in one go." i flinched when he reminded me of how i almost killed him
"I am a mage assassin, i SPECIALIZE in taking people down in one go. however, if they dont go down in one go there is a high chance of me being defeated. mage spells can only be cast so often, you cant cast the spells consecutively. the cooldown isnt THAT long, its only a few seconds, but i could be taken down in a few seconds. THAT is why i need emma's help. she relies on her physical attacks more than her spells, dealing constant damage." i said.
"you can count on me." emma said, smiling "I heard you have always wanted to taste their kind anyway! to be honest, i kind of want to also." And with that said, we were preparing our little family against an army.

JAMES' POV
I was laying down on my bed when ahri burst into my room, it was sudden and she sure did surprise me,
"JAMESYOUGOTTALEAVETEREISAGIANTARMYCOMINGAFTERYOUBECAUSEYOURTAKINGAWAYPIRITY'SSPURITY!" she yelled extremely fast, "Turn into a hawk and fly away!"
I smiled and did something she'd never expect, I walked to my window, and jumped out... Then I turned into a hawk and flew away. I knew where I was headed, and what I was doing, I was bringing purity home, to her friends and family. I flew for a couple hours, days really, soaring through the skies until I heard the yelling and wailing of an approaching army..
I saw the campsite and turned into human, of course I was two kilometers above land and the free fall was exciting but as I am quite dramatic I turned into a sugar Glider a couple meters above land and I glided onto the branch of a tree. I watched the camp site for a couple more days, moving as they moved until I was sure where purity was. She was in the main tent where three royal looking people slept. I knew it was her in there because one day I heard her cursing at them for some reason I'm unsure of. Is it really my fault that she is cursing and swearing? I tensed because that not what I wanted for her, but I jumped off the tree and turned into a spider, for I will help and protect purity no matter how she is or acts, for that's unconditional love.
I snuck into the campsite and found the cage they were keeping purity in, I can't forget to give them an extra punch for that. I crawled into her cage and she noticed me and started to try to step on me. I kept abasing her foot and she started cursing again, for I was teasing her by getting close then scurrying off.
"You son of a-" she started before I rudely interrupted by tapping her on the back in human form
"Watch your language young lady!" I teased her,
"James!" She yelled while slinging her arms around my shoulders
I guess I should have told you before but I've still been reading my mothers diary and it is quite interesting, particularly the bit where it shows you every single animal and what they do. There is one particular spell which I will need though.
"Hold my hand and embrace yourself" I say quickly
"Nows not the time to hold hands James" she laughed
"Trust me." I said
She put her hand in mine and I quickly whispered a spell.
"humming bird see, humming bird do,
I will shapeshift now you will too!"
I opened my eyes to see I was a humming bird, and so was purity.
I quickly taught her how to fly and we flew back to the house together, I raised my scared hand and pointe at purity after changing into human again, she morphed back.
I felt dizzy, I think I gave purity too much of my power in that spell
"Oh crap" I thought as I passed out on the doorstep of our house

ALICE'S POV
A couple days had passed and I was about to give a FantasyLand speech. Clearing my throat, I stepped up to the microphone and spoke.
"People of FantasyLand!"
I silently cursed myself. I told myself I wouldn't say that...it's too corny.
"Agh, Nevermind that. Sorry guys."
Crap! Too casual!
Clearing my throat again, I gave up and just delivered my message. "Mirror has told me about things in Spirit Land and other places I must tend to. I feel as though it's my duty to aid them...I feel an odd connection to them. You might know this already, but Peregrine-"
The crowd hushed even further. The people on the other side of FantasyLand (keep in mind that FantasyLand is twice the mass of Earth. We accessed it through a portal when we came)
"I don't know if you knew this...but Peregrine is my sister."
The people gasped.
"One of us chose the light path, the other walked on the dark path."
Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breathe out. It was hard to remember.
"And I have a suspicion that Peregrine has been trying to haunt these places and the people inside them."
An understanding look fell on their faces.
"If you have been a long-term FantasyLand citizen, you would know. But some time ago, when my mother was still Queen, Peregrine's mother left the Dark FantasyLand and came to FantasyLand. She haunted our people, and massive chaos overtook us. It was a dark period, because my mother was ill and her strength failed her when she tried to defeat her. She died in battle, and from her death I rose."
I stayed in human form, but for dramatic effect, I made my dragon wings appear on my back. Then I closed them back in, and they vanished.
"I have decided to temporarily leave FantasyLand. Cho Li will be taking my place as executive ruler while I'm gone."
Then I made a descision that I hadn't thought of before.
On the spot, I said "and I will be taking my boyfriend Jack Blackwell with me."
Glancing at Jack, his face was full of emotions. Shock. Surprise. But there was a glowing underlay of shining excitement and anticipation. I smiled.
Bowing my head informally, I grinned and said thank you to the people.
Bouncing off the stage and into Jack's arms, I smiled at Cho. She seemed slightly scared to be the new ruler of FantasyLand, but there was determination in her eyes, and she was going to be a magnificent ruler.
Jack and I went back to the house. I led him to my room, and we shut the door because Skeeter was still sleeping. We sat on my bed and I called my magic mirror.
"Mirror, tell me how to get to that bird girl."
"You won't like it."
"Just tell me."
"She lives in the OverWorld."
I gasped. The OverWorld?! That was a four hour flight---in fact, it's the way we came for the dragon migration!
Jack looked slightly shocked at the long flight, but was glad and still excited.
"Four hour flight?!" Jack poked my ribs.
"Sorry." I giggled. He poked my ribs again and I inched away from him, but he just came closer.
"Mirror do you have anything to help us?"
Mirror sighed, pretending to be irritated with me. "Well there is one thing."
"And what is it?"
Mirror's glassy surface turned white, until it showed a necklace. It was simple. It had a black string and a single green pendant hung in the middle. If you turned the pendant around, it showed a picture of the bird-girl.
I stuck my hand in and took it out.
"Thanks Mirror!"
"That necklace is enchanted. When you come near the bird girl, that green pendant will glow and turn red."
I wanted to hug Mirror at that point.
"Thank you so much Mirror. I owe you."
I paused.
"Now leave me and my boyfriend alone."
Mirror floated away.
"It's always so interesting when you talk to Mirror. I wish I had a mirror like that."
I smiled. "Maybe you'll become king of FantasyLand. FantasyLand royalty gets mirrors." This was true. And if I married Jack, he'd be the king, with me as queen.
He smiled and kissed my cheek. "We'll see."
We left my room, and went to wake up Skeeter.
We continued about our daily lives, but went to bed early.
We needed a good night's rest, if we were going to fly four hours tomorrow.

PURE' POV
"J-James? JAMES!" I shouted, fearing the worse. We just got back. I wanted some time with him when one of us wasn't nearly dead!
"urhghr" James mumbled. Thank god. He was probably drained of power. I couldn't carry him alone, so I went to get Ahri.
Opening the door, I called "Ahri? I'm home!"
"PURE! OHMIGOSH!" Ahri screamed. She ran to the door, and gave me a huge hug. "I missed you!!!!"
"I missed you too, Ahri!" I told her, "Can you help me carry James upstairs?"
"Probably not. We can get him to the fireplace. He will rest there" she told me.
An hour later, James was laying on the floor, covered in bruises.
"I never knew how hard that table was." I said.
"Neither did I." Ahri replied.
We looked at each other, then start laughing our head off.
"We need to be serious. We still are under attack." Ahri announced.
"They won't be here until tuesday, and it is only friday. I heard them talking about it when i was trapped." I said, "By the way, where is Chives?"
"In his room." Ahri said.
I dashed upstairs, and into Chives' room.
"Pure... My baby sister. I missed you." Chives said, kissing my forehead, "I don't know what came over me..."
"It's ok, Chives. I love you anyways." I said.
"I love you too, Purity." he told me, "If you don't want to be pure, thats ok. As long as you are happy. But if that punk breaks your heart, I am breaking his neck."
"I'm sure you will."

EMMA'S POV
That Night, I had bad dreams. But, you have to understand, I'm slightly physic, my dreams come true. No one in my family knows.
So, that night I had bad dreams. I was standing in a felid of war. In frount of the house, my home. There were people fighting. Then, suddenly, I was on the roof. I was sitting in the cornor between the chimney and the wall. I could smell blood, and I was bleeding. My watch was shattered, and my hair was knotted. I felt...human. I was..cold. I hadn't felt cold in almost 300 years. I shivered. Then, suddenly, there was a man, with a stake and a staff. His staff was glowing, I assumed that was waht made me human. I didn't have fangs, or magic to protect myself as the stake came down, I felt it rushing past me then..I woke up shaking.
I wandered out side, and I swear I felt cold. I fell over, and stayed there for a while.
A little bit after my fit, I was still sitting outside on the ice, when I smelled somthing good, warm, and familer. Chives, with a cup of hot tea? Chocolate? IDONT KNOW WHAT ONE CHIVVES WOULD LIKE >.<. I assumed he came out here to look at the stars or something, but when he saw me, he dropped his hot drink and ran over.
"Emma, why are you sitting out here?"
"I had a bad dream"
He sighed, "Of all people, you know bad dreams can't hurt you."
I started crying. "b-b-but mine can!"
He akwardly patted me on the head, A motion I could almost be sure he had done to pure, many times.
"No, they can't"
"B-b-b-but..I'm physic" I blurted out
His face was unreadable, even for me.
"What was you dream about?"
After I told him, he was lost in thought for a while.
"They don't want to kill anybody else, why would they kill you?"
"Maybe, well, everybody thinks vampires are evil, right?" My voice was shaky but I continued, "and your people are good, maybe they want to get rid of evil; get rid of me."
I started shaking again.
"Come on, lets get you back inside"
Somehow, I mustered the strength to get back up, then I stumbled into the living room.
I sat down on the couch, and Chives sat down next to me. I moved into his lap, and I fell asleep.
When I awoke, the entire family was watching us. My face turned red.
Chives was still asleep, so I motioned to Ahri to follow me into the kitchen.
"I'm Physic"
Ahri gasped.
When I told her my dream, she frowned.
"But its totally okay for you to sleep with Chives after that" She giggled.
"Its not funny Ahri! I...I think it means I'm going to DIE!"
I'm sure the entire family heard that one.
The Family room went silent.

AVI'S POV
You won't die!" I tell her!
Now that Alice is gone, I can't lose anyone else
Sparky slams into the wall, when trying to stop in here. we all start to giggle and I pick him up and leave the room.
"I need to make a toy for you!" I tell him.
I go outside and pick up and round smooth rock. It had a little sparkle to it. I came inside ad threw it across the room, seeing Sparky run after it. I grab a book and sit down.
Five more days until my birthday! If only Alice were here....

ALICE'S POV
Time to go.
Jack and I stood at the launch pad, waiting for a good breeze. Cho and Ariana stood behind us, waving goodbye. I clutched my pendant. It was dull, unlit. Jack removed his arm from my waist and stepped aside to transform. He closed his eyes, and breathed in. Smiling to himself, he looked at rest. Peaceful. Even though he was about to accompany me on a four hour journey. He dipped his head, and his skin turned into sleek dragon hide, layered in black and green iridescent scales. Crouching, he fell into full dragon form, growing bigger and filling out into the Slovakian Wedgehorn. He had two mirror-like horns. His eyes were slim and still Jack...pale icy blue. I smiled up at him, suddenly so small as a bunny girl.
I breathed in and transformed. My skin rippled into black scales, with some platinum ones mixed in. My slim
eyes were reddish. My canines filed into small points. I blew a quick breath of fire before winking at Jack.
I turned around to see my friends waving farewell. I roared the signature call of the Platinara and felt a good riding breeze. Jack knew it too. We took off. Looking behind quickly, I saw Cho and Ariana had turned into dragons, and they were roaring goodbye. They shrunk back into humans.
We knew this path well. The tricky part was going through the portal. It was easy to miss if you weren't keeping a keen eye. We kept flying, tiring out but pushing ourselves to keep going. I felt bad for Jack. I really had no purpose of bringing him...but I wanted him to be with me. I could still feel excitement rolling off of him in waves, even though we had been flying for three and a half hours already. We talked some, watched the scenery, pushed each other around and pretending it was an accident. Finally I saw the portal and pointed it out. It was a glowing gold cloud. The makers tried to conceal it but failed, since the portal gleamed so brightly.
Holding our breath, we flew right through the cloud. I felt my body mass suck in, and morph through the portal. We tumbled out the other side, and landed on a mountaintop. This is where we usually go for the migration. I sighed. Fifteen more minutes and we were good. The pendant had begun to glow dimly, turn from vibrant green to a paler green. Soon it'd take a pale pink shade, then a red shade.
I was excited. I paused for a moment, though. I realized I had nowhere to go. I didn't know where we should be.
I stopped Jack and called Mirror. Even though it was a four hour flight for us, it was only a two second teleportation for Mirror.
"Where am I supposed to go, Mirror?"
Mirror showed me where to go, kind of like a GPS. She told me we weren't far, and we should be at a mansion on top of a tall mountain. The mansion would be straight forward, then slightly to the right.
I thanked Mirror and let her float next to us. Our trio flew straight and to the right, like Mirror instructed.
We had reached the mansion. I was thrilled! The pendant was completely white now, and was beginning to turn pink. My heart pounded and my feet touched grass. Shrinking back into a girl, I grippe the necklace with my human hands. Jack turned human and sighed.
"We were here for the migration just recently," he commented. Mirror remained in the air.
"Can I leave now?" She said playfully. I laughed.
"Of course not. You have to tell us where to go." She sighed.
"Fine. At the base of this hill there should be a hidden portal. Find it." She vanished.
I exhaled. "This will be easier in bunny form," said Jack. He turned into a thinner bunny with gray ears and spots. I turned into my signature bunny: pure white and adorably cute and small.
We hopped down the mountain, listening for potential danger. It was precariously dangerous for two good-sized rabbits to be jumping around in the woods. Bears. Wolves. Any predator unaware of the fact that we're not just bunnies.
This mountain was taller than I expected. Seemed miles high. Our heads cleared and our ears popped as we approached the bottom. Sighing, we kept tumbling to the bottom. Looking at Jack, I accidentally ran into a tree. Jack keeled over laughing, and rushed to my side through his laughing tears to help me up. I mock-scowled at him.
A hush fell over me as I inspected the tree. It was misshapen...
I turned into a girl. Jack turned into a boy.
Easily, I ripped the trunk open, like it was fabric, not wood.
Must be the portal.
I was about to take Jack's hand and step in, but something else happened.
Someone came running through the portal at top-speed. They obviously didn't expect someone to be on the other side. They went crashing head first into me, knocking me and Jack both over.
Dazed, I blinked. I was staring into the face of my target.
The bird girl

AVI'S POV
I slam the book shut. I toss it on the table. Well at least I hope it landed on the table. I sit up only to freeze. Sparky was sound a sleep. I slowly get up and tiptoe around Sparky. I walk to Colli and start poking her.
"Poke. Poke. Poke. Poke, Poke."
"Avi stop acting so random" she tells me.
"I'm soooooo bored. SOOO bored." I whine.
"James turn into a bear"
"Now turn inform a fox."
"Now go away"
"Dinner!" Ahri calls out.
That awakens Sparky and he dashes, slamming into a chair. I pass him some steak and he chows down, I start to eat my pork. Once I Finished I grab a cookie. I head straight to bed, since I have nothing to do. The door was left open and Sparky dashes in before me. I walk in my room, as soon as I walk through the doorway it feels like a sleep spell has been cast. Sparky has claimed my bed so I sleep in his bed. I wake up the next morning with a nasty bed head. I walk downstairs and see Ahri.
"G'morning Ahri"
"Good morning. Nice hair do ya got there" she snickers
"Shaddup" I say and jump up and mess up her hair.
"I'm goin out don't eat my breakfast." I tell her.
I walk outside and feel the cold air nip at my ear. I hear the door open and turn around and see Ahri opening the door for Sparky. We head for the woods near the house. Sparky runs ahead to my right and I try to catch at him. I keep my eyes on him and I run into something. Sparky did to. What is this? it's some sort of portal! it is a portal. Sparky and I try to run. We appear somewhere new and run into someone.
"ALICE!!!!!!"

COLI'S POV
I had finished breakfast, which was very good, and sat still. I had been sitting for five minutes, waiting for Avi. She was nowhere in sight. The door creaked and I rushed to the door. The carpet slid beneath me, and I fell onto the ground. No one was at the door. It was only the wind. I started crying now.
"I MISS ALICE!" I was crouched on the floor, crying loudly. Emma came over, and was hushing me, hugging me close.
"We all miss her, Colli. She'll come back soon." Emma kept shushing me. I was being silent, but tears gushed out.
"She would've come for T-Thanksgiving." I say quietly. Emma was quiet, considering what I had said. Ahri heard the odd silence and hurried up. she saw me crying, and Emma sitting with me. Ahri just smiled and went back to her room. I hugged close to Emma, forgetting her fangs. Emma noticed this and seemed really happy. Looking up at Emma, I asked her.
"Can we look for her?"
Emma stared and silently called the family. Or maybe it was the silence again. Everyone gathering around, she answered.
"Yes."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I will never fall for Ahri's deceiving, flirtatious powers ever again. She messed with my mind once, and I made sure its impossible for such things to repeat themselves. I returned to the home after being gone for 24 days. nearly a month, and no one seemed to care! Nobody except James, who brought me home after he found me out cold in the unforgiving snow. The frost blanketing my face, he rushed me back. You may blame it on me being hungry, or dehydrated, but the dragons left enough scraps for me to rummage through and eat as much as I wanted. I melted some snow under the fire for me to drink. So why did I pass out you ask? I found exactly what I needed to surpass Ahri's magic. While gazing through her mind, I found her weakness. I found if I ate this special flower, that most people avoid to to the fact that eating it causes instant paralysis, you will be immune to her deceptive magic. If i was to return to the house, I HAD to do it. I wasn't going to risk being deceived again. Before I ate the dangerous vegetation, I did something special. something only my brother could ever understand. I used my powers to make lightning strike 1,2,3 miles away from the house. I then lit a fire, that made plenty of smoke. i ate the flower, and let James do the rest. I was at the home. being awakened by even more newcomers, Chives and Emma.
The ones my brother and I must avoid...
EMMA'S POV
I saw Mason come home covered in frost. I didn't even realize he was gone. Oh well, I'll apologize to him later.
After I had gone hunting, I felt much better. My eyes no longer glowed red, and I could breathe straight. I found chives in the forest on my way home. He was tracking something. He still looked a little beat up from when Ahri taught him a lesson. When I said I could heal him, he refused. I frowned. I followed him for a little bit, But when he started to shake from exhaustion, I told him he had to go home. While we walked home, he had to lean on me. I said nothing, on the inside I was smiling. When we got into the foyer, I smelled mason and James. Ah. They can help me. I didn't think that chives would listen. For me to have him go to bed. I couldn't smell pure anywhere.
"James, can you come down here?"
I don't think I've ever talked around chives before. He stared in aw at me when I talked. I wonder why.
When James came down, chives just stares at him. When James waled up to help me carry chives up the stairs, he slapped James! Then James made a mistake. He punched Chives in the gut. He dubbed over, they passed out. I snarled. James backed up, knowing the mistake he had just made. I gently laid Chives down on the ground, then ran around James in a circle. Once I had confused him, I slapped his face. He fell to the ground unconious. I knew pure would never forgive me for killing him. So I just drank enough blood of his to have the same amount of his strength, then used it to get chives up the stairs into purse room. She still wasn't there, so I layedchives down on her bed. I then healed him, but I was exhausted after the healing. I tried to make it down stairs to wake up James, but I collapsed halfway there. I fell down the stairs and hit my head on the wood banister. Everything went black.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

ROOM SETUP
Three Rooms
Room 1- James, Mason, Chives (used to be Alice)
Room 2-Pure, and Avi (Only has two people because a part of the room is cut off with the chimney)
Room 3- Emma, Coli, and Ahri

"Yes."
