James had his arm tightly around me, and was holding a bag of ice to my eye, where Jack punched me. It wasn't a hard punch, more like a warning. I was still getting a bruise.
Jack sat awkwardly at the table.
James and I were discussing my new name. We had a few ideas.
Ahri, Avi, and Coli were talking to eachother about what just happened.
Jack picked moss of the table.

How would you feel if some random girl walked up to you, said she knew your gf/bf, and that she didn't approve. My nose was an INCHES away from his.
It is only natural.

But punching you. Really? XD XD XD at least change it to putting his hands on your shoulders and stepping away politely...or something...less..lame...
