Chapter 6?
Still munching on a cold slab of pork, I think about what happened. My pet bunny turned into a girl. My teeth feel as though they are ripping out, this pork is so hard. "Ahri, next time cook the food." I complain. Ahri looks at me sternly. "The house would burn down if I started a fire. This place doesn't a working furnace, Colli." Staring at my feet, I stride up the stairs to my shared room with (Purity?). My ears twitch and shiver in a gust of cold wind coming from a broken window. Grabbing some mud, I seal the window only to make it look odd. Sneaking to my chest of things, I take out my slightly worn book. My diary, I think. Reading over the last time I wrote, I now write about Avi and what she said, and Alice my pet bunny. Quivering, I start to write it out with a small feather dabbed in some ink. "Dear Aurora-" I am interupted as Avi calls to me. "Ask Ahri if I can go outside, Colli!" Stashing my secret treasure, I dash to AVi. "You know what she'll say. 'No, you're too wounded.' Then you'll say, "Oh, I'm fine!" Those words sting me; why was I so mean? Avi looks disappointed but I quickly walk away, guilt churning inside me. I grab one of my old magic books that Ahri gave to me. "Spells and Shape-shifting". Flipping over to a spell, instead of snap-shifting as Ahri forbid me to do, I read what it does. "'Guiding Light Spell: Light your path'". So I start to practice sensing my aura, whatever it was Ahri told me. Concentrating on 'light', I hold my hands out in a small cup. Magical sparks flickered there, but never grew big enough for light. Trying again and again, I get frustrated. "I tried this 50 times in a minute! Why won't it work?!" Panting and seething with angry, I stomp and glance at the book. Step 5: Stay calm. Oops. Calming myself down quickly, I try again. "WOW! I made a light!" A small orb of light hovered above my cupped hands. I run out to tell Ahri.
