Okay! I feel like I have to post now too!!!! This is kinda in order except for the things that I can't place in the timeline....o.O Sorry this isn't a cool story or anything XD
(By the way I apologize for not being on as often now :\)
I'll start with how I found out about this awesome game!!!
I was bored one summer in IDK ANYMORE GEEZ MONTH day with nothing to do except look up apps on my iPod. I checked the top free apps and found something called Eden (lite?) and then after playing it for a few minutes I went ahead and bought the full version for 99 cents. Eden is like a ripoff version of minecraft where you place blocks and build but you don't craft items and the monsters are silly things that don't present any challenges or real meaning to the game.
I was thinking that maybe Eden had a computer version and somehow I google-stumbled upon MineCraft!!!!!! I was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited. I don't really remember what version it was...I have a HORRIBLE memory. Somehow it wasn't the legit minecraft or something cause I had to keep searching for the actual site and the download there. OH wait it was the free old browser version with no mobs and really basic stuff, kinda like Eden. Anyway, I found the legit Minecraft, looked at the price (then $26 dollars and they had like 5 million 100 thousand downloads...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). I thought WHY AM I PAYING FOR THIS?! But it looked so fun I couldn't resist! It took sooooooo long to download on my old computer! But when it did I had to update to 1.2.5 soon after.
At first I just played around on the single player version. That lasted maybe 5 minutes and then I decided to look up stuff in the game. I had nooooo idea what I was doing or how to craft or ANYTHING. I checked out the minecraft wiki pages for about 3 hours! There were a ton of things to look at and memorize!!! I still don't know a lot of recipes and I don't know anything about brewing....still...
Anyway, I played the game, realized I wanted to try multiplayer, found a bunch of lame sites that were just...boring...but I somehow had the good fortune to find McTopia!!
McTopia
When I first logged into the McTopia server and was welcomed by someone I never saw again (o.O )I was amazed with spawn and the free food section! This was before we had more than one world! I looked around for quite a while before braving the treacherous terrain beyond the safety limit sign... Back then I was completely terrified of all mobs and other players and didn't want to die even though I had nothing in my inventory. =P
There was a player that I can't remember the name of (I'm horrible with names...) who invited me to his house! It was amazing! The floor was covered in activated redstone on top of black wool? or obsidian? Anyway, it was a really cool house! He gave me some items to defend myself and gather resources with like diamond armor and tools and a ton of food, but like a noob, I didn't put most of it away and lost it to SuperCooper or someone like that who said they didn't kill girls and didn't believe I was a girl after I told him I was -_- This was RIGHT after I got the items too...which I never got back +_+.
Later I found out that the house belonged to someone else! (whoops!) But I still had a room for a little while before it was griefed. =( Back then I didn't bother with getting it fixed or telling anyone so I just moved out to a cave somewhere and hid..for a looong long time.
McTopia was the first place that I experience the Nether and the End!!!!!!
Hicole was offering work and I accepted the job to clear out a 50x50x2 space. He invited me to his extravagant home under the earth and built me a room and our secret hideout and everything... One time I didn't log on for a few days only to find that he placed diamond blocks by accident so I couldn't get to my stuff XD.
Eventually I met kittens and marshvegas and challenger and heard about Mr. Inspiron. Kittens let me have a awesome house in Kittensville! We used to go exploring and pigmen hunting in the nether! It was so fun to fight them as a team (although we kept dying)! I stayed there for a long time until I got mod! Getting mod was nice and I was build-crazed!!! A little too crazed. Now that I look back I probably shouldn't have built all the things I did o.e
I became friends with a bunch of people! Metazard (SEE I mentioned you XDDDDD lol), Awesomeboo, challenger, skynoms, geomark, miner3506, mine, mattman, hicole, mtmoon, Lord_Nickolas (pedobear don't touch kittens!!!!!!!) pieguy, emmylol, stainingear, mcmanaway, 9745 (WHERE ARE YOU 9745? =<) fatboomer, legit, silverwolf, Arwes, nlmon, monstergeek, some people's names I can't remember how to spell that are right on the tip of my tongue... that one guy who lives in a cool place in the desert that I talked to early one morning and the girl who built near the castle I'm (still) building and the two people that I built houses for with kittens's help! and the girl I helped with building traps and explored some tunnels with, and that one guy that I helped find a good spot to set up his first home in minecraft! etc....sooooo many people!
I went overboard in Kittensville and built a rollercoaster, my first one ever, and it was kinda lame XD but hey...I tried. I built some pixel art mobs for the roller coaster and built a giant 3D dog for marsh! I tried to build an enderdragon near kittensville several times only to find that I suck at making dragons.
Skynoms and I became friends sometime either before or after mod.... I greeted gemukokoro7 as the rank before the change to SDs and Admins...
I built Nekoland, the castle, the port, the tree helped with kittensville ... I built a lot of things that aren't finished....
I was afk while fatboomer exploded angry lava/w.e. all over the old spawn forcing everyone to accept making a new spawn...
I was there to help with the new spawn although I didn't do much without worldedit. When we got the second and third worlds I was there to explore them and I voted for Challenger for mod!
When I got admin I was so happy that I could fly... the magic carpet thingy was super annoying! I was hoping for world edit but yeah...XD
I fixed some grief, built a hotel with hicole, fixed the hotel's grief, jailed some people, argued with some other people, had lots of fun, attended weddings,and was there during some sad times...
I was there when kittens got admin and when challen got mod and when a bunch of other people joined the server and when some other people got ranks...
I'm leaving a lot of stuff out cause I don't have a bunch of time and I don't even have time to review this D:< oh well.
