Fish leaped up and flashed silver in the light of dawn. Pink and orange stained the sky like berries and I was itching to leap into the water to catch some swift salmon or minnows. Looking carefully in the clear water to pounce where no rocks would stab my paws, I looked for the swift flick of a tail. Fwish! My paw reaches out and hooks that lightning fast fish, and a fat trout flops on the ground, edging towards the water. I bite the fish, and it stops wriggling. Now I can have breakfast! I take a big bite out of "breakfast" and savor that. It tastes kind of salty, but with a tangy fishy taste too. Grass sways in the wind and I look up. Groaning, I run as fast as a cheetah towards ANYTHING that couldbe commendable shelter. lthoughg unknown to me, this was a hurricane. *hurricane Sandy cough cough* As I duck into shelter, birds are cawing and flocking out of the area as high winds start. "I hope I survive..."
