Prompt 15:

I wake up sucking in salty water. Yes, water. I live in the sea, where kelp is a tree, and water is air. But I'm not a mermaid or fish. I am a wolf. Of course I am not a regular wolf. I have fins along my back and on my tail and webbed feet. My fur is tinted blue for camouflage. I am sort of a stray though. I used to have a nice mermaid owner. Her hair was dark brown and long, and her tail was a greenish blue. why am I alone now? Because, she left one day, she left without bringing me. She left for a city called "Blue Ocean City". But she did want to bring me. But she couldn't. I cannot understand mermaids so I don't know why she left me behind. But I DO know one thing, we both wanted to see the world above the ocean. We have peeped at the world above. There was sand, and one bad thing. Humans. All creatures in the sea know that humans will catch you, put you in a cage, OR eat you. I will tell you my story: Months after my owner had left, I went on land more and more. Until one day, I was caught. I WAS out in a cage. I would explain more but I want to make this short and sweet. There was a human. It was a girl, I could tell. And she snuck me out, and brought me to her home. She took care of me. She gave me food and nursed me to health when I was sick. One night, she brought me to the beach. I was delighted, until I found out this. she was letting me go. Was she leaving like my previous owner? When I looked back she was already leaving. I let out a small whimper and dove in. But she did visit me at the beach. And I found a new owner, just like her.
