That thing...the Nocturne thing, it was pretty cool. Heck, my name is TALINERA. I'm pretty experienced with dark beings. I myself am sort of a dark being: a fearsome dragon.

Nami seemed pretty shaken up, but recovered quickly. It was impressive, I figured I could teach her a lot. Yes, I referred to him as a girl. He's more feminine and girly, so I figured I should address him as a girl.

I could tell she thought we were best friends. I mean I liked her and all, she was nice, but I didn't think we were best friends. I thought of it more as a teacher-disciple relationship. I still haven’t told her that I am such a fearsome creature. She only knows my bunny side: cute, fluffy, and innocent.

Most likely, she thinks I am just like her: just cute with some magic powers. None of the new people of our extensive family line knew I was Princess Talinera, the dark and lovely dragon ruler of Spirit Land and FantasyLand. Including Nami. She didn’t know, as far as I was concerned.

I definitely felt guilty, though. Nami confronted me about it because she felt me pulling away whenever she tried to do best-friendy stuff with me.

She pouted. "Why don't you want to be my friend!"

My eyes widened. "What?"

"You always are hesitant when we do stuff together." She cried out, little pearls of tears falling down.

I comforted her. "Listen, Nami."

"I'm not really your best friend. I don't think of it like that."

She wailed harder, and I rushed to her aid.

"I think of it, like, I'm a teacher and you're my student."

Her sniffling paused.

"R-R-Really?" She managed a grin.

"Of course. But I don't really do best-friendy stuff like that. Just a warning. I've never been one to do that kind of stuff." I said seriously and solemnly.

I paused in thought. "Well, I do sometimes, but I'm never best friends with my students." I smiled. So did she.

"So don't be sad. But if you feel me drawing back a little bit, remember it's not because I don't like you."

She nodded, and that was that.

I felt kinda bad about flirting with those boys. Nami was into it, but I was just interacting with that Ryan guy. After all, Princess Talinera has her Jack rabbit to go with her. The Platinara with the Slovakian Wedgehorn. But I knew Ryan would only be a friend, so I shrugged and took out my white iPhone.

(Yes, I have an iPhone. I actually do have a job. I run a dermatology clinic in the middle of the nearby city. It's pretty successful. I mean at least ONE of us has to make money somehow, to feed all of us. Ahri likes to catch food instead, but we have to pay the bills. I know what you're thinking, "Little Alice has a serious side? What the?!" but I am one of the providers for the family, shockingly.)

But back to the point.

I pulled out my white iPhone with its hot pink bunny ears case, and I texted Ryan. Might as well be his friend.

Hey! It's me, Alice! Remember, I was that girl at the ice cream place and the mall?

I awaited his reply.

Finally it came.

Haha yeah, I remember you! Who was that other girl?

I smiled to myself. Nami. She'd be happy he asked about her. But wait! Ryan had to find out eventually that Nami was a boy...right? I frowned. I wondered if he'd take interest in Nami if he knew she was a boy.

Oh, that's Nami! Why do you ask?? (;

Well she's cute. But I'm actually not straight...so...awkward...

My eyes shot open. Not straight?! Nami would be happy to hear that.

He had to go back because there was a kind of epidemic that affected the dragons, and we both wanted to make sure Cho, Ariana, and Skeeter were doing alright. He especially wanted to check up on Skeeter. Skeeter was like Jack’s little brother.

Sorry. I forgot to tell you. There's a buncha new people in the Earthly family (: as long as Cho, Ariana, and Skeeter are doing alright, the four of you should ALL come visit!!!

Mini chapter.
Note: I'm changing my characters age, by a few years.

It was like I never left. They brushed my fur. Fed me, gave me water. I purred and rubbed up to them. But now I was nervously glancing at them. Pacing, and wondering. Should I show them now? yes I should. It's now or never.

I thought out everything. I would gather them all here, somehow. And transform. And explain everything.
How should I gather them? hmm... I got it!

I yowled. I kept on yowling, and meowing. They all were here. Wondering what was wrong with me. One of them picked me up. But I mowed and shook until they dropped me. Here I go. I thought.

I changed to a human. An 11 year old girl, with green eyes, dark brown hair, and a band of freckles across my nose. Cat ears and tail, still there.

they all looked shock. I was VERY nervous. I told them it all. Except... My secret.

The cold air rushed past me, the stars twinkling brightly. I was running in the grassy field, the vegetation tickling my skin. Tonight I was a girl, running in the moonlight. A pack of wolves howled in the distance, echoing aross the flat plain in front of me. Smiling, I ran towards the moon. My bare feet were plastered with mud, and my face has grass stains.

Soon there was a faint glow. Not the white, comforting glow of the moon. The warm, cheery light of a fire. looking ahead, I saw the cabin. I just shrugged, ignoring it. Stomping and romping in the meadow, fireflies erupted from the grass. They rise slowly like glowing balloons.

My playing soon ceased as I appeared in the distance of the cabin. Not realizing someone could spot me when they looked outside, I fell back onto the ground. My eyes were sparkling with delight. Everything was going my way!

I had a cozy warm den, food in my belly, and playful fun-filled nights. I had turned my schedule around, but it worked out. Now I'm nocturnal cause nobody bothers me at night.

The fireflies hovered, acting like shooting stars. Soon I heard a thump as someone in the cabin opened a window. Delight gone, I transformed into a bunny. someone gazed out while I stood still as a statue. The one with bunny ears looked out and seemingly squinted at me, as though she was seeing through me. Huh.
