Hey, I hope it isn't any trouble if someone could give me the info on when we might get the real server back up? I'm afraid to progress in the temp server because whenever I do, I always get looted and moderately greifed while being powerless about it. Also, what is the whole thing with Sponges? What happened to Bukkit? Sorry if you have already answered these questions xD I just need to gather all this nebulous information and put it into one place. " title="Razz">

bukkit is having legal issues, its basicly dead. the person who owns the rights to it is saying he doesnt want it distributed anymore

So here's a briefing on the problem:

Bukkit is down due to licensing problems. Mojang owns bukkit. A major developer found a way to take bukkit down due to these problems. 1.8 bukkit will take forever. Blah blah blah
