I'm the same way. When I lost my nephew due to a disease, nothing made me angrier than the "I'm sorry for you're loss"'s I recieved. Sorry doesn't bring him back. One thing I am sure of is that your grandfather would want you to stay strong Chris. He would rather you think of the good times you had together, than to think of what recently happened. That's all anyone could ever ask for after they pass away. I know that's what I would want when I pass. You're like a brother to me Chris. I've been through what you are going through right now. You may not want to talk about it, but just know, I can feel sympathy for you. I have the memories of my grandpa lingering in my head at random every day. I miss him, but I alway try to think of the fishing trips we had, or hunting instead of the last moments I shared. That helps me, and maybe, just maybe it can make you feel at least a little better to.

I didn't get to be with him, he was always too far away.

He probably never got the chance to know him.
Farewell to all, I'll miss you.

I knew him, I spent some time with him, but he was too old to do anything with, so my ignorance of age stopped me from going to see him "Because I have more fun stuff to do"
Karma?
