I sorta know how that feels. I've moved houses about 6 or 7 times and everyone it feels like you've left someone, a little part of you behind. I may have not lost all stuff but I'm sure I leave a jacket some jeans and some games every time I move xD

update:
I THOUGHT I lost my stuff, turns out (when I checked in on my house) only the basement flooded a little! I'm happy (Rug died) but a-okay!

That happened to me a few years ago...almost lost my computer but I DIDNT! The ugly carpet smelled like rainwater and feet, so we had to rip that out...
