Hey everyone, it is me McMan.
I just have some information that I would like to point out over the next few days after some events that have occurred on the server or to McTopia in general.
Issue 1- Name Changes
Mojang has officially released name changes which allow you to change your username on all Minecraft servers, ranks seem to changes through the name change however I have not tested every plugin in the server, this could mean some things like chests or lapis may not work , however I will try tests to see if these issues take affect on the server. Just for now take care when changing your usernames as there might be some issues on the plugin side.
Issue 2- "Cock" Rockets
I have noticed that several penis shaped objects have made it into the server and have been claimed to be rockets after I asked about them. As they are technically legal they can stay however if they are built next to someone else's base and that person does not want it, the penis shaped structure can be removed for trolling. So to sum it up don't build cocks next to people's bases. (Hawkeye will be used to date the structures to the player conplaining, if the penis structure was built before the players house, no action will be taken.
Issue 3- Member Quiz
I have noticed a huge growth of complaints conserning the member quiz at spawn, I am going to place a lapis field with only Admin Alts added so that untrusted players cannot mess with the quiz. Another matter on this note, don't randomly tp to other players (or as claimed risky teleports) as you may lose your rank on the server.
Issue 4- Screenshots
Please make sure that the screenshots you take are relevant to the issue you are trying to push across, I have seen some images where the points the player is trying to point out don't link up with the screenshots, or the screenshots don't provide any information. Also if you are seriously mad about something you don't believe is against the rules, or is abusing the system, DO NOT RAGE QUIT. Rage quoting will clear chat and could possibly hide any evidence you are trying to push across.
Anyway thanks for reading, and please think about the points I have put across. Later on today I will update you guys on if lapis fields & chests or another important plugin is affected by name changes that have been put out by Mojang!
