Mob Spawning

HI, my name is My_Koffee_Bean I was recently banned I applied and was unbanned I came back on and I couldn't find a single chicken, Chicken in crucial in the success of my cake shop. I must have looked for at least half an hour and didn't find a chicken or any other mob.

Today i found out that mob spawning was turned off?! i was wondering why this was done and many other people as well.

please reply and maby this can be reset.

I'll post back here when I attempt to fix it, but for now I have not investigated the problem and have no idea the cause.

Have you tried doing "/gamerule doMobSpawning true" or in the multiverse core the mobspawning string is false. This is a common error in servers.

Some mobs are allowed to spawn while others are not, and the ones that CAN spawn can't spawn in large quantities, only in short spurts at certain times.

Yeah it would have nothing to do with multiverse as that is a very straight forward program. This issue should be fixed now though.
