HELP

This has happened like 5 times now, I am just playing then poof I randomly fie and I do /back all my stuff is gone and it doesn't say (name) killed zombielover99 it doesn't even say zombielover99 died, I'm losing god bows by the second here!

This used to happen to me, I would die as if by /kill. Apon doing /back I would find everything in my inventory was gone, leaving only the armor I was wearing.

I found later this was caused by two/three conflicting mods I had installed. This has also happened to my friend apon using a faulty hacked client.

If you have installed any mods or anything of the sort, I suggest removing them and seeing if the prolem is fixed. If you're in vanilla and it's still happening, make sure you're in the latest version of Minecraft (1.5.1).

You could also try installing OptiFine if you do not already have it. Sometimes random glitches can occur during lag spikes, such as falldamage building up then hitting you all at once, killing you. OptiFine should help cut down on lag, and make your game run smoother either way.

Danny had an inventory tweaks mod that sorts his inventory. That was considered cheating on this server, so it killed him.
