whether people should be jailed for going into unlocked chests.
(they should be able to it's the chest owners fault for not locking it).

It's impossible to have hoppers go into locked chests so... They shouldn't be allowed.

Hmm well my opinion on this is that it shouldn't be allowed. Although the person did not lock the chest and made it possible for people to take from it freely, what's the difference between it and lapis blocks? If a person does not have lapis, even though it is "their fault for not using it", people who break their blocks are still labeled as griefers. What's the difference between taking items from an unlocked chest?

If you do the command to keep your chests unlocked, the person who steals your stuff shouldn't face punishment.
