Alright, so a stable version of a dev build of Craftbukkit 1.7 will not be out for a while. I think we are all coping with this fact pretty well. I think in the mean time, we keep the Vanilla 1.7 server up, but also run McTopia 1.6 as well. We would need to take away some ram from McTopia, but the biggest servers out there don't use half the ram McTopia uses.
We would either use 1.6 Craftbukkit
OR
Use 1.7 Spigot
Spigot is a modded version of Craftbukkit. It is made for big servers to give the servers better performance. Probably every big server network you joined uses Spigot. Now, this is NOT actually 1.7, but it is coded to work with 1.7 but it is still Craftbukkit 1.6.
I think this will make everyone happy, you get normal McTopia, and if you want to do 1.7 stuff you can just join the vanilla server at mctopia.us:25566 or whatever.
