hey guys I recently got into the game terraria and I absolutely love it. im hear to recommend you to set aside a tiny 14 dollars to buy it because I can garuntee you will enjoy yourselves and have a wonderful time playing with yourself and friends.
terraria is basically a 2D minecraft but I find it better, with terraria not only do you get the basics. armour, pickaxe, sword but you can get drills which work as all of those (except armour) in one, some armour comes with certain perks such as unlimited breath underwater, being able to swim and also to even double jump. you can get wings as well which enables a limited period of time to fly and a gentle glide once you've flown to high. you can also get other cool things such as boomerangs, blowpipes, guns and even grenades.
my favourite prop to use in it is the upgraded version of the grappling hook called the ivy whip, with a grappling hook you can hook on to certain places to reach higher ground and mine other places but with the ivy whip you can throw 3 hooks on walls to reach certain mining ores and diiging places if you get the hook on the right angles.
unlike minecraft, in terraria you can fight bosses and get real neet loot and there are even npcs that come if you build a house and you possess the right kind of equipment e.g. if you come across a firearm of anykind and than make a house a gun dealer will soon move in. there are many enemies you can come across in terraria such as slime, zombies, skeletons, and even vultures but with the right equipment they are easy to handle but if you come across a blood moon then you will be fighting a heck of a lot more enemies but like I said, with the right equipment, they are no problem... though the thing you never want to come across is corruption, it pollutes the grass land and youll soon be overthrown by enemies. BUT DONT GIVE UP there is a cure, but I will not explain that
once you've totally made your character badass to the limit with a pimped out mansion, best equipment and armour of the game it begins to get a tad boring, fear not adventurers, play with a few mates youll have a better time than you did by yourself.

This is a minecraft server, and I don't really appreciate you trying to sell us Terraria and saying "it is better than Minecraft because." It's my opinion, but... erm.

1 recommending a game exactly like minecraft on a minecraft server is not a crime.
2 I am not selling it all I did was recommend it
3 where did I say it is better than minecraft because?
I am just trying to show you a fun game, I am just saying you should give it a try. did not say im here on this server to sell you this game. it is ten times better than minecraft because ALL DA HARCOR GAMERS PLAY IT U NO THE C0D PLAYAS.. It's alright, Golden, he's not selling it to us. Just a recommendation. Sorta like recommending songs, it's all the same.
Maybe I will look into it, you're not the first one who's been buggin me to play Terraria lately... xD

Terraria is awesome but I am kind of over powered... I can defeat so much bosses with my melee weapon. Also I have 400 health. I mostly play on my cousin's server ashball1337 and we usually battle all these bosses.. One time I defeated Skellitronprime by myself... I also have a lot of pets... Oh also something he didn't say usually on holidays or big updates Terraria is usually 75% off. Also, when I bought it, it was ten.
