Voting Items - Jamourous - 2013-09-14
Hi there! Hope you have been having a great day so far. I just wanted to ask a question.
If I vote, I get free items. (60 iron and 8 lapis) Due to my fortunate position, which I am very thankful for, I do not need the items. Am I allowed to give them away? It's a catch 22 here...
If I Give The Items Away: I get accused of spawning in items for people, and thus get jailed
If I Don't Give Items Away: I get accused of being greedy, and being selfish for not giving to the less fortunate. This is not a true representation of me, I often give money to charity and good causes that I believe in. (McTopia, Kickstarter, etc)
I just need clarification for this, as I want the best outcome for all.

If you get it from voting I see no reason why you can't give them out, since you got them without spawning them in.

I agree but lots of abusers will us that as an excuse to give spawned stuff. See where I'm going with this?

Hence this conversation.
I propose this as a suitable way to go about giving away voting items
1 - You must give away ALL items if you are a item spawning rank.
2 - You must ONLY give away the items from voting, no more, no less
3 - As an added incentive to stop abusers, using /report to tell an admin about adding spawned items to the mix, and it can be proven, heeds some sort of reward (2 stacks of iron maybe?)
Any more I need to add?

It not really greedy to not give items away. Mist of the time I clear my inventory after i vote, because i dont vote for prizes, i vote for the server.

But most of the time just like Jam, all my prizes go to waste

Haha VIP-ob and under are the only ones who vote for the STUFF. Whether you vote with a weird name or not, it still counts for the server. Iz all good.
