So there has been some confusion with this post so ill clear these things up. This is sort of a app "frame". I don't care if you use the format of this example app. As long as your words your speaking and wanting to come across to others are different. Not word for word. There's not problem in using this format, just no word for word. This "Staff Applications" tab is for people to get there point across. Doesn't matter how it is formatted, as long as its grammatically correct and explains thoroughly why you should be _____ rank.
Now I was thinking. I want to make sentence frames. I know when I come up with essays or even for this "staff app", I freeze. I don't know what to say, how to say it, or even if what I say is going to offend people. So I'm going to make some sentence frames for you guys. The point in making a staff app, like I said above, is to get your point through to inspiron so he can watch you. So here's a little help for all your staff apps.

REASON

2) Many of you all know I am a great_______. I _______ and _______. Sometimes I even_______. This is why ________ should ________, and even if_______ happens I will________. Also _________

(you guys can get very creative and long with these. Just giving you an idea on how it should semi-look)

GOOD CONCLUSION
1) Use humor
2) Try to come up with something catchy
3) Make it so this was worth the readers time
4) Restate your problem/reason for your whole speech
USE GOOD GRAMMER
although I am not a stickler for grammar some people are. So try to please these people (especially inspiron) with good grammar.
1) don't use "r"
2) don't use "u"
3) please, please don't use "plz" ( I just spelt it 2 times for you, now you know how to spell it (; )
4) don't use "thr"
5) don't use "wht"
6) just please don't use ANY texting lingo. Would you apply for a job and use this kind of English/lingo? No. So treat this like any important application.
KNOW YOUR COMMANDS
1) make sure you study up on your commands for the new rank you are wanting. State those commands and also why you would like them.
2) Make sure the reader/staff knows that you understand ALL of the server rules.
3) Also, make sure you don't break a rule in your app -_-
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE MAKES SURE TO TELL US IF YOU HAVE BEEN JAILED OR BANNED AND WHY
1) state your jail time, reason, who jailed, and why you wont do it again
I was jailed for_____. I was jailed for ________time and by _______. I wont do this again because________
2) state your ban time, reason, who banned, and why you will NOT DO IT AGAIN. (probably if you were banned you might not have a chance. But if you are forgiven, give it a chance!)
I was banned for______. I was in for_____. I really wont do this again because_______. And you can _________.
WAY TO CONTACT IF NEEDED
1) list Skype (if needed just pm inspiron)
2) Email
3) any other place you can be contacted at if needed in emergency.

So this is what i would like to see in staff aplications. As you can see the blanks look small. But in the examples the blanks would have to be about a couple sentances long. They shouldnt be just one word long.
THIS IS JUST AN OUTLINE. If your whole app consist of these outlines and none of you own material. Your app will be looked down at. This is only for if you get stuck and your brain freezes and you cant figure out how to word something, or just plainly how to say it. C:

Hey guys its emmylol1. I have decided to make a mod application after much consideration and thinking. So here's why I would like to be mod.
First off I started playing on Mctopia around May or june of 2011. I was showed the server by my brother (lolcatty) and his friend Andy (magnetkoi). I'm not quite sure how they found the server. They said it was off a website but I think 2 years ago mctopia was never on a web site

I can seriously go on forever. I know I have missed a lot of people but I have to continue this app before you all fall asleep. So the second reason why I think I should be mod is because I have helped A LOT of people. I help people build. I question griefers. I give people advice, whether in game or in real life. I always am here for people to ask questions. I direct people to the spawn, warps, rules, etc. I am an overall friend. And I also try not to hold grudges on specific players.
Next reason is the commands mod has. I feel comfortable with the commands and the rank because of much experience on other servers. I promise to only jail for jail-able reasons such as griefing, disrespect, not following rules *as simple as they are* spammers, etc.
Another reason is that a lot of people know how much I build. Mod has the magic carpet command and it would really benefit me. I would like in the future to build a spawn. Or info building for the server. I can also help a lot of players build, and well I could really help the community. Off the topic of magic carpet, I feel that being a Trusted player people won’t come to me as often as I would like, for help. I would really love to be the person on the server that people could come to for advice, rule knowledge, help, and many more. I feel people can trust me for anything. I do not gossip or give out any personal information (if told).
So now that you know alittle about me and why I would like mod, I hope you do consider me. I hope that in the future I can be an OVERALL friend and trusted.

Ok guys. So this is what my mod app would look like if I had made one. The forums wasn't up before I got mod so I never got the chance. Although this app may be lacking PAZZAZ (uh I really don't know why I said that Cx) I do feel like this is semi what apps should look like. And for the names thingy. If I didn't add your name sorry D: I just named a few names off the top of my head, trying to name names of people when I was trusted. Many of the people listed joined after me so idk if that makes my add incorrect. Oh well lol
like I said feel free to look at my app as an example. I looked through Staff Application posts and I havnt seen a post that was an example so I have decided to post one of my own.

Apparently you didn't read everything. This is not fill in the blanks. These are examples. there sentence outliners. Like I said, I don't expect them to use one of each in there apps, cause then it would be complete copying. I know that if I was making an app, I would feel that im missing something and I don't know how to put it. Also, these are very common sentence starters. These have been used many times, and anyone can think of these. Im not trying to "help" I am helping. Meta sometimes it seems like you have a grudge over me. Like your trying to put me down. Cant you just see the positive in what im doing and not the negative. This is a game. yes. So it isn't going to be perfect. Most players on this server are between 9 and 16 years old. A little help would be great for a lot of people. Just please. I hate to say this but, can you please stop hating on me?! every time I get on the forums I have to see if you are on and watch what I say because I KNOW you are going to comment negative things on what I post. And I know you don't want anyone to feel like that on the forums and the server, but that's how your making me feel.
And back onto the topic, please read most if not all of this example, so you know why, and my expectations on what you can and cannot do regarding the outlines of this post.

If you felt like I was hatin on you then you coulda said so, I'm not trying too, I'm just.. Err depressed? I don't know, regretful, my great grandfather has brain cancer, he's too old to operate on.
As a kid I never wanted to see him, now I can't

I just feel that sentence frames are pretty basic, the age for people applying should be high enough to think for themselves, I was just trying to get my point across

Everyone deals with problems. Im sorry to hear about your grandpa. Both of my grandpas died last year. My dad almost died too. Right now I am currently homeless. I have an abusing step father and I havnt slept for 3 days straight. Everyone goes through crap at one point or another in there life. Its just really not of to let out your anger on others. Cause I really felt like crap everytime I saw you post something on my posts.

Hah, I'm not taking my anger out on you, my anger is a lot different to this, I've learnt to control that.
I was trying to use constructive criticism, I was just trying to help.
Like I said, if you're committed to going for staff, I believe you should do this own your own, with original sentence starters, I like the idea though
