Actually, That doesn't really offend black people xD I think its more offensive to force out "African-American". Like honestly. Black people are black. White people are white.
If I was black, and someone said "You are an African-American" I would mostly likely think to myself.

Well, I tell my non white and white friends a ton of really offensive racist jokes, but I am not a racist lol.
If we call them "African-American", they should call us "Euro-American". But I don't understand why they took the most offensive word ever, replaced "er" with an "a" and it is "nigga". I don't get it.
Can someone explain?

Oh, and it is kind of ironic when others use the term "cracker" as an offensive term. A whip makes a crack sound in the air, and the cracker is the one who holds the whip. Doesn't sound like something that would offend me, but instead it would backfire.
