its taking two or more people, and creating a relationship for them, real or not. it is usually romantic, sometimes its more a friend thing. its normally done to tease or annoy others when its used with real life people. more often than not, its with fictional characters
they normally have a ship name, which is the two people's names combined. like "mobi" is metazard and tobi combined.
otp means "one true pairing" and bro-tp is like an otp, but not romantic. and a no-tp is a unshipable ship.
