i did say that. tree does deserve a week long temp-ban, but that does NOT mean every single little thing he does is wrong.

I think it should just be classified with grief and be done with it, next time this happens, just do so. If they made a box, straight and simple, what, 9 blocks? Five minutes, it's not harsh, enough to get the point through though.
The thing is, even if people were getting on trees back, he shouldn't be doing bad things in the first place, he needs to work on that, it can be fixed, so if he does minor things, go for a warning.

Regardless, if you treat it as grief, it's done, you just use the regular rules and there is no arguments.
